I think the  ” 3 P's Patch will be a much better place with
her continued presence and will give us a better balance,
as we now have both sides of the Hemisphere covered!

I am so happy Tai accepted to be moderator -I have been
on my own too long and she has breathed new life into
our pod, already.

I am sure you will all agree, they are lovely, and have made a big

I also would like to invite those fellow Gaian's who are on Facebook-
to another “Patch” !
There are a number of us there who are friends and we now even
have a Gaia Centre on Yoville -where we can meet “live”.
So if you are on FB -check us out -there are a lot of familiar faces there.

I am very suprised to see a thread on another pod, regarding
Gaians on Facebook -title Gaia bashing!

This simply is not true -I certainly have not come across
any such thing!
There are a number of Gaia'ns who interact between both sites,
although some of them admittedly, left here in dis-enchantement.

There isn't a comparison between the two -but it is nice to
have another way to know each other.
It is more light-hearted and many now spend a lot more time there
simply because there is much more live-interaction.

On FB we can also keep in touch with family and other friends at
the same time and we also have chat facilities.
And we also have our Gaia Centre -all things we don't have here.

I see it as an extention of Gaia and as such we are spreading the
word a lot longer and further than we can here.
But we refer back to here and this will always be the “Mother Pod”.

I am so happy to see that my fellow Facebook Gaia friends are participating
in both groups.
I feel blessed to be getting to know them on two “fronts” -or perhaps
I should say three -as there is a place on FB called Yoville -where quite
a few of us meet regularly!
Because we live in different Continents, it is the closest we can get to
meeting -as least we are live- and although we have little characters-lol-
we can at least see each other and talk in speech bubbles!!
Although more light-hearted -than here -we still are the same people,
and I guess a little light-heartedness is good for us as well!

Well, I see there is no a thread in another pod- about
us Facebook users!
I really enjoy (as previously stated) -the interaction between both
Groups and I have got to know many fellow Gaian's so much better
on Facebook, than I ever had got to know them here!
We all have a number of mutual friends and enjoy the interaction
of both places.
I think there is actually less 'poaching” of words and ideas on FB-
and you can have your settings either private or open -
so the choice is your own.

We talk about things in Gaia as well, when are in FB -and the
biggest benefit is that people are more polite and caring.
We don't post something up there and run the risk of a personal
attack -as does happen here.
We don't have people going behind our back and tittle tattling
to other members either!

So all in all -I think we are more respectful to each other there
than here!
That being said though , I was here at Gaia/zaadz first (since 2006)
and am very grateful to those who have been a great support to me,
and Gaia will still always have my loyalty :)

Seems there is a continuing ebb and flow in our Gaia Patch!
In the past week a couple of members have left -and yet new friends
have appeared -and even dear old members have re-appeared.

I love Gaia being part of my life and feel proud to be a member,
navigating, all weathers!

Yes, Nicole -a delight for sure, to have “our Andrew” back!
Gaia was a quieter place without him!
Hope you have had contact with him -very sadly- it seems he
has not been welcomed back with open arms by everybody here.
Which I find sad, considering what we are supposed to stand for at Gaia-
charitable hearts being one of those things!
