Will be joining and linking to our group in Lincoln, England as they hold their weekend celebration and to Fuji Sanctuary.  Will be performing the Divinity IN and focusing on peace and prayer.

I see in the follow up reports, 52 countries participated -
so that had to have bought a lot of focus towards peace :)

Got the photos emailed yesterday, looks like a good day was had by all - lots of love n'light and peace.  They have a big garden and the flag ceremony was held  in a marquee.  My friend Teresa sang and drummed and took her mandalas to decorate the space.

Today in our Patch -we had a 5 hour meeting, between Council
and neighbourhood members, which I attended.
We work-shopped out ideas as to what we want in our suburb
as we grow and develop.
Hopefully, the Council will take our ideas on board, after all,
it IS where WE live and we should have a say on the future
of our suburb.
I do think is was a great idea and I think more of this type of
event should be held.
After all, we do all have something to say and to have that chance
to be heard, is vital to the development of our Cities.

Sounds like an excellent idea and it brings the community together, think we have “Parish Council” meetings which I've been thinking of attending - maybe I could take my drum!!

Yes, Parish Council meetings would be a good way of bringing the
Community together -and I am sure they would appreciate your drumming!
This meeting however was with the Brisbane City Council,who run our City.
We also have State and Federal Government here, so our City Councils
are 3rd on the ladder- but they take care of our Cities and towns-
and it is to them we pay our rates -so I am sure we deserve to be involved
in City Planning!

Peace requires justice to be, and here in the Las Vegas patch, we are in a local struggle for justice as the corruption of our local government is in plain sight and moving forward to prosecute a dear friend (and me next if they are successful) for our efforts to help a small boy return to his mother and raise the awareness of the need for our school system to step-up and protect our children in Las Vegas.


There's more on my blog, but I encourage everyone to send light and positive energy as we go through the trial this week of Laurinda Drake, and we raise the awareness of the corruption of our times to allow the new vision of a peaceful, compassionate world take hold.  Please spread the word to increase the light.

Lots of activity in our Patch this week -a lot of new building going on.
The traffic seems to be a lot heavier, our City is getting busier and busier!
So much for the “sleepy, country town city” we were once labelled!!

Happy International Peace Day -from my patch to yours!!

We held a vigil today and received a wonderful response from all
the passing traffic.
Good to know people care and can be untied by peace :)

Delighful happening in my Patch yesterday.
Some good samaritan has re-painted the rocks in the Peace Sign!
Was such a suprise- the first time in 16 years there has been any such help.
In fact in the first few years I spent much time having to re-build it!
Has the “tide” for peace changed at last ???

The local agricultural college had a beautiful reading and prayer meeting around the flag pole and the atmosphere was very good.  I think the young ones are more involved now that they are hearing about the death's of other young people in Afganistan - they can relate to young people dying in their generation and understand the need for peace more than ever before…

That does beautiful Tai and I think you are right in that young people
are more aware for the need for peace-than they have been for a long time.
I hope they can find the strength and the answers to find the solutions
our world so badly needs.

I don't think any of us could Imagine a better future than living together
in peace and harmony, Tai.
However, I don't think enough of us actually Imagine peace!
There is so much negativity in our World -so many prepared to throw
in the towel and put peace in the too hard basket -saying it is impossible
and will never happen.
Is it this kind of outlook that is being handed down to the younger generation,
to the point that they are being bought up on the belief peace is impossible?
If so - do they just accept that we live in a World with War?
I hope not -I hope there are enough “elders” to encourage and inspire them
to forever hold the candle for peace and to never, ever give up trying
to achieve it!

Holding our own peaceful, positive space and breaking the mould of violence is something we all have to work towards

calm center spreads out
new beginnings happening
all around is peace

We just have to keep working on this one until it happens, until we find resolution..
