Hey fellow weather posters -I ahve started this new thread as the old
one getting way to slow to load.
The weather here today is wet, wet, wet !
It is just pouring down now -no hope of doing anything except be
indoors, but can't complain on a lazy Sunday afternoon I guess!
Roast dinner for tea will warm us up :)

Think you must be needing more rain than England, just light drizzle here - there was a downpour while drumming outside yesterday, not good, the drum skins went all loose, had to put them in the cabin to dry out!

it was gorgeously gorgeous. 34% humidity, no clouds, and 83 glorious degrees. Now as the solstice sun gets ready to comes up it is in the 60's and 75% humidity and lightly cloudy sky. Looking for showers and maybe thunderstorms and highs in the 80's again.

Humidity here today 70% - 69 degrees indoors, still dull with heavy cloud - hope the sky clears this afternoon, good day to get out on my bike while it's cool..

True,Tai we do need the rain -but too much for too long gets us down!
Today there is very little difference in our day and night temps-
we are going from 15 to 17 degrees and more rain,rain, rain!

Dull, and damp today…Went warm but cloudy with bits of sunshine yesterday afternoon, so went out for a bike ride and meditated by the stream.  Lots of people walking their dogs - the dogs loved paddling in the water, people were friendly, but an old labrador nearly had me off my bike, he was slow and just moved out infront of me while I was cycling over the bridge - didn't take my camera for once, just needed to ride hard, broke the ride with meditation on a bench by the stream.

It is summer here in Minnesota. Set a record 94 today and predicted 96 tomorrow. Light winds out of the SW @ 4-5mph and reasonable humidity and cotton candy puffy clouds from horizon to horizon.
We had a very mild spring with a lot of rain to make up the drought we were suffering and temps only reaching 90 once and rarely in the 80's.

Hi - weather sunny and warm, misty first thing - 5am exercise in the garden and walk after.  Sounds hot at yours iljung…
You've had loads of rain your way Sandy! - I noticed the river near us is pretty full too when I was out on Sunday

WELL, it might be 22 deg here, but the humidity is so far down-
it is freezing!
( Jenny, I am sure it is more than me just being a “sooky lal la ” -lol )

We have had quite a bit of rain here Tai, and though it has been clear
for a few days -it's coming back! Even have storms forecast for this
afternoon -but at the moment it is so still -not a trace of wind even.

Managed to help the M in L yesterday to do a few chores in her
garden though -and make a dump trip!

It's 72 indoors here and about the same humidity - mix of cloud and sun, been having showers and sunshine for last few days.

My mum and dad have been busy in the garden for a few days - I've not done much, just watered a bit, need to give conservatory plants loads of water and have the waterfall unit on - noticed scale insects on rubber plant, need to sort that too..

Cloudy and rainy on and off today. We let the bunnies out of their hutch for a run this morning and they got caught in the rain. Normally when we go to put them back in they hide. Today I went out to get them and first Yoda came straight to me just asking to be put in and Hazel sat waiting for me to pick her up. She was dripping wet and had little seeds all through her fur.
Yesterday the humidity was 97%. I would rather it just rained.

Those bunnies sound SO cute Jenny -I must say I am really missing having a pet!
But to get one would mean having to find someone to mind them when we are away.
Today I felt such a longing to be down your way -we are in fact considering
selling up and moving down there!

The weather? Well, i'm from India. The monsoons are overdue around here, so it's hot as hell! Dry too! It's next to impossible to go to sleep without the fan on and god help you if you go to sleep without turning it on…

You'll wake up in a puddle of your own sweat in a few hours time.

But, I don't mind the heat. It's just that since the monsoons aren't here, farmers are having trouble with their crops. A lot of people (in a country like India) depend on the rains for agriculture. If the rains are late, their crops die, and so do their means for survival.

…so I hope it rains soon…

Hi jitendar, sounds uncomfortable and so hot where you are, don't think my body could cope with the heat, doesn't get that hot in England usually..

Here in MN we are having rain. Bands of thundershowers with light soaking rain in between. Humidity at 100% so I just got human again with a shower of my own.
Unfortunately someone flipped their car on a curve into a tunnel as I was driving home. There were already people getting him out and the rest of us needed to not get rear ended. Sending hope that everyone is alright.
Just saw the world weather that the monsoons are 2 weeks late but coming. Hope the crops hold out.

Still cloudy, no rain as yet here, thunder was due, it's happened in the south of england already in the night Zephyr said, woke her up too!
Humidy 80 - 75 F here at present, still a little airless..

Hi beloved tai!
It cooled off here while I was asleep and was so wonderful I went out and pulled all the weeds that the last week of rain and 90+ temp and humidity had created. A brief thundershower went through that dropped the temp from 75 to a wonderfully comfortable 63.

mornin' iljung - it's 76 F here - pressure 1020, humidity around 78 % - loads of rain last night - the sunrise was awesome this morning - sort of glowed with a halo, very divine and beautiful - think the air has cleared now too, can breathe better, good air quality I think - raises the spirits.  Bet my weeds have grown too!  great growing weather here in England - we didn't get the expected thunder, had very heavy rain instead just after tea, just a little dampness in the air now.

Its pretty and sunny this morning and I have to work. Looking like a really pleasant day too. Will have to make up some excuses to go outside. Currently 10'C and it should get up to about 20' during the day. 

Sandy if you move down here I would be very happy. No doubt so would your family.

Here in Brisbane at almost 11.30 am Monday -our day is reaching towards the
promised 20 degrees with an overnight low of 10 ,
which led me to finally putting the electric blanket on the bed-
while others of you reach for a fan or the air con remote!!!

It was a really close, hot night, windows were wide open, just for some air..
It's only 5.57am here in England.  Been making an early start since the Solstice, some days going walking and others doing the Divinity IN in the garden, while the birds are flitting about on the feeder, awesome…

My naughty little girl bunny, Hazel, escaped and when I got home Amy and Sally were running round the backyard trying to catch her in the dark. Yoda was good and allowed himself to be put back in easily, but not Hazel, oooo no. She's way too smart for that. Finally caught her and put a brick in the hole they dug.

Been meaning to ask Tai, what is the Divinity IN?

it's hard to explain it's a bit like chi-kung, mudra, and kotodama all rolled into one.  I've been doing it facing the 4 directions, and celebrating grandmother, granfather, and my inner self.  - www.byakko.org  - so 7 times - good number 7!

My Dad's dog Blaze is getting old and her hearing and eyesight are going. I let her out when I get home from work @ 6am before feeding her. Before if there was a rabbit in the yard Blaze would fruitlessly tear off and the rabbit would dive down it's bunny hole. Now Blaze is not really sure want that blob is out in the yard and the rabbit is not sure if sitting perfectly still is the best defense so they have these endless “Mexican standsoffs” and I want to go to bed so I make a loud noise and the rabbit takes off and Blaze tries to remember why she was standing there.
It is a gloriously cool 62F here in the great Upper Midwest with light breezes and low humidity. Sat watching the sunrise for 2 hours from the Minnesota River valley in my stalled car. Very beautiful. So was Dad's push home.

HOT AND HUMID,

It's been very hot and sticky here last week (with the exception of some local rain showers here and there)  and it's going to be very warm coming week as well, hopefully a bit less humid.

But the music is cool!

mid day report - well its 13.30 really - temp 77 F, but it's cooled down a little as the sun's gone in now - bit hot for drumming this morning, we had to have the windows open - hope the neighbours were all out, or had cotton wool in their ears! Humidity 75%

Love the music Alluvja and story iljung. My dogs are too lazy to chase the rabbits though Jack (Jack Russell/Corgi cross) will show me where they are if I ask him. He's good at sniffing them out when they hide.

Good morning everyone -loved reading the posts, and seeing the photos,
the videos and the poem !

I actually had frozen fingers this morning!!
We dropped down to 7 deg overnight but we are promised? a sunny
day with the temperature to go up to 23 deg -and I can't wait for it to happen!!

It was a hot night again, but woke to a gentle breeze on my face - window wide open again - and the sound of rain, was very tempted just to go out in the garden and have a natural shower!  23  sounds good - its 24 degrees here about 76 F.  80% humidity - pressure 1020

it is 53F/13C with clouds and a cool breeze here in New Hope, MN, USA. High humidity but one does not notice it with the cool temps.
Quite a change from the 95F/35C of a couple of days ago. Suppose to be in the high 70's/ mid 20's all week which unusual for this time of year. Not complaining. Here is a beaut of a sundog I found on the net. peace.

they are predicting much rain and thundershowers this week for montreal and area but right now i am enjoying the sun peeking through the clouds, going up today to a high of 24 degrees celsius.

Today here, it is blowing a gale!!! so much for the nice 23deg day forecast!
Although I see some of temperatures are similar, be that of summer or
winter -it is the humidity that creates the real difference.

Sometimes in summer we get up in the 90's and some places in
Australia get up to almost 100 per cent humidity -and boy is that hot!!!

It's 78 F here at 7am, and was really hot in the night, airless.  It tried to thunder yesterday teatime, but only lasted a few minutes, hope it rains today.  It was fresh outside at 6 am, I really enjoyed my morning exercise, as it was so hot yesterday.  Not sure what the outside temperatures were here, but the news said in the 90's which is so unlike England! humidity rarely goes above 80% here.

Hello -it is 8.15 pm here on a very windy, blustery night.
Our temperature range was 9-19 deg with wind,wind, wind!!
We are however lucky the wind came in so strong last night as
yesterday we had a lot of air pollution which had come up from the
Southern States.
So although it got blown here -it also got blown out to sea-
thankgoodness.
It must be dreadful to live in those really polluted cities -I don't
know how people can breathe or be healthy??

Hi Sandy, it's 11.56 am here in England and it's COOL - yey, COOL, slept better last night so more energy, got up at 5am to exercise again….it's 75 F pressure gone down to between 1010 and 1020 now, just under 80 humidity - it's dull and drizzly here and the garden is just enjoying it so much…Bet our pollen counts dropped dramatically, my eyes were stinging yesterday, had to put drops in.  I've heard it said that the pollution in the cities is really bad, it can't be healthy can it..hope all the folk in the cities get into the country every so often!

It is has been just freezing here today and very windy.
Tonight we are going down to 8 degrees -but at almost 5 pm, it feels
as if it already is!!
today I remembered just how much I dislike being cold and it is so strange
talking with my overseas friends in FB , who are sweltering from the heat!!
Ooooh for a nice moderate temperature….

Hi everyone - clearish skies and sun at 5am, exercised, back to bed and sleep… slept much better, it's cooled down here now…just been out on my bike, I flew along, then found some broken green glass, hope I avoided it, it makes you wonder why people do this sort of thing…is was done by the stream, where folk walk their dogs…  wouldn't it be good a nice steady temperature, no extremes!

hello bunny, hello doggy!  hot night again, not helped by being bitten by bugs last night at the BBQ across the road.  The weather held off just a few spots of rain, lots of dark clouds - dull this morning and warm…

23 C - about 74 F here and it's 7.15am, got up a little later, think there were magpies shrieking in the garden, possibly the roof above the open bedroom window! couldn't get back to sleep!

Better night's sleep, more air and cooler - 74 F at present with around 70% humidity - it's 7.54am here - light breeze, very pleasant and a little cloudy. The bite on my foot was itching this morning, but the one on my arm and leg are ok, just very red!  Drumming this morning, I'm thankful it's not hot, drumming and heat just don't mix too well for me…

Its' 6.11pm here at present and we are going down to 9 deg tonight, I think.
Was quite an overcast day -but with the threat of rain around, the temperature
will problay be a little warmer.

Colin took me to Sydney today to the Eye Hospital. My eye is acting up again. It was really cold down there, 11'C and 76% humidity and bitter wind chill factor. Havent been that cold since I was living in Canberra. We had a nice day though after getting out of the eye hospital, went and had lunch in the Queen Victoria Building. Its very old and beautifully restored with original stained glass windows and original timbers and flooring that has been restored not renovated. When I was a child we always went there when we went to Sydney.

that's a fine building Jenny…rained today and a lot cooler, drumming rocked, we did some heart beat rhythm at the end, which had a very relaxing effect on us all..it seems strange being warmer in England at this time of year !
