we have dog vomit slime. that is it's official name on the web. it has a three day life cycle. the 1st day it is bright bright yellow and very viscous. if you put an indentation in the surface it fills it in in about an hour. the 2nd day it turns splotchy brown like a well cooked pancake and the 3rd day the brown turns to black spores. |

Hi Sandy, I always wondered why the parents took the children in cars every day, so much pollution! and unfortuately the people walking had to inhale it….I did however drop my son off two days a week as I worked in a playgroup and I wouldn't have had the time to walk him to school and then go there… |

No, not by a bee - love bees, maybe I should love wasps more, they make really lovely homes for their young, very creative they are. Have you ever heard a wasp harvesting wood pulp - its amazing. I sit on the seat by our pond in the summer and they scrape off the top layer of wood, they do the same on the fence and they love rasping on bamboo canes too! |

My eucalyptus tree has had it's hair cut, so I have piles of branches and leaves both in the front and the back, such a shame, but I suppose it lets more light in and it doesn't have to be cut now for another few years! |

think our eucalyptus is “gunnii” not real sure it's around 25 years old and transplanted from our last home, it has wisteria growing through it and bird feeders hanging from it - I made dreamcatchers from it's twigs a few years ago and now we have a log pile for the garden, quite a big one at that! |

In our place, there is no porch, patio, or a courtyard. The house we occupy is a two storeyed building and we occupy the ground floor and other two families are occupying the upstairs. the beach is so close but always crowded. Any how we prefer the beach for this purpose. We face the Indian ocean and always ships moving. |

Hi - The fushia is growing so well - our front porch is facing South West, so the fushia is thriving even in the heat of the midday sun which is really not that hot here, there's only been 2 or 3 occasions of a few days this year that we could call really hot and they were at the beginning of the summer! |

Enjoying catching up with everyone from here in Montana (northwest US near Canada.) We planted two baby wisterias three or four years ago, but no flowers yet. Last year we had a beautiful fuscia for a while…it was the first one I ever had and really I loved looking at it. |
