New urgency to conserve water as water bills soar!!

Inflation, drought, new taxes, and expensive water projects are among the drivers of higher water bills expected around the world, despite the squeeze already on consumers as a result of the recession. If you’re not already conserving water for ecological, scientific, or spiritual reasons, then you might consider saving water now for financial reasons!

Yes Dr.Deb -
although I do so by choice- it is also compulsory here in Brisbane
as we have been on water restricitions for the last few years.
In recent weeks we have had a slight relaxing and can use a hose once
a week again!
But- after 3 minute showers, no hosing/sprinklering, we have adapted
and our gardens are planted with natives these days.
We could not go back to being so wasteful with water, ever gain-
we appreciate it too much for one and for two we are charged for it.
