business voodoo Earth Hour was FANTASTIC! This year the entire Las Vegas Strip went dark (well, almost (= ) . . . we with the LV Peace Project were drummin' and dancin in the dark. Last year when we called the Luxor to turn out the Lumen we couldn't even get a call back . . . this year EVERY casino all the way to downtown participated! whoo hoo! (8 months ago)

The trouble for me is that wars are sometimes fought in the name of peace. However, you are right, because being Pro peace is a full time job, whereas being anti war often starts too late.

Absolutely; it 's a little like working towards prevention. There can be non-peace even if there isn't war. So we've to prevent the conditions that brew and culminate in war and its devastating aftermath.

I love the idea of Mother Theresa.  Can we recognize the issues while not focusing on the negativity, but rather embrace and be the peace we wish to see and offer that as the solution? Can we lead by example?

of focussing on the good.
However, I think it important to still resist and object to the bad -
otherwise we are not part of making change.
It would be my dearest wish, to ONLY have good things to report -
sadly, there are not enough of them yet!!
