Plea for PEACE in MUMBAI

Dear fellow Gaians ,
please pray and plea for peace in Mumbai.
We all know what has been happening, and is still happening
there, and all we can do is hope for peace to be restored.
We can offer sympathy and condolence for those who have
lost loved ones and we can praise the many acts of bravery.

Perhaps ,by us all sending universal peace thoughts,
 we can do our little to help set this situation right.
At least it will do no harm to try…

Each time we send Light and Love to anyone or any place, we are indeed helping. Even if we don't see immediate results, we have done a great service. So each of us can help this area of India, just imagine the whole country bathed in a brilliant white light and send visions of love. This is simple to do, yet so powerful.

Certainly, the prayers are there for the departed souls to rest in peace and also prayers for the restoration of peace to Mumbai and to the people who lost their loved ones.

Indeed, all of us have lost our loved ones in this attack. All people over the world are children of Adam only, so, all are relatives only.

The path to reach GOD may differ among us. But we are heading towards the one and only GOD.

We Gaians can change the world by our humble thoughts and prayers to restore PEACE on Earth.

healing, and reach the people's of India.

Why do terrorists think killing is the answer -it
achieves nothing but pain and grief -
they must be total monsters as there is no exuse, ever.

There is no reason to punish innocent people and all through
time and in continuing wars, it is always the innocent that suffer.

This is a beautiful tribute Samme.  Thank you so much for adding beauty to tragedy.  I have started a candlelight vigil against terror today.

Joining you all in offerings of light, flowers, prayers for peace, love, and light to all the departed souls, the bereaved, the grieving, those still in the darkness, and to the entire nation of India, the world, the Universe. Celebrating the heroes who demonstrated unconditional love, and remembering that we don't need to hate the people who had been 'responsible', but only to condemn their 'misadventure and misbehavior' and support  the cause of finding solutions to the root of the world's problems.

Every day, as I speak to friends and relatives, I hear of someone I knew, or knew of, who died. So this kind of peaceful gathering sustains me, and I see, also those who were directly or indirectly affected.

There are some beautiful photos and tributes
posted here and I am moved to tears with the emotion.
Candles and flowers and prayers for peace and for those
that have lost their lives in this tragedy.

The attacks were aimed at our people, our prosperity and our peace. But their top target was something else: our unity. If these attacks cause us to turn on each other in hatred and conflict, the terrorists will have won. They know that hatred and chaos feed on division. As radical extremists, their only hope of winning is by turning the rest of us against each other.

Might just say I've been signed up with Avaaz for some time and they just send messages from themselves, which are quite few and far between and I haven't experienced junk mail as a result of signing up with them.  Hoping this reassures folk on Gaia.
