Ashamed to admit I have never heard of the organisation before!

Funny thing is - I notice the Peace Pole project.  There is a 'peace pole' at Samye Ling monastery where I study.  I had no idea there were thousands more all over the world!

When I attended the Divinity In workshop our host received a mini peace pole as a gift - wish I had a picture!

Thanks for all thes sites,  will check them out.
Another thing when we were talking about world peace, designers.
Well would it not be great to get all these designers, from these sites:
Example : Doctors,Scientists,Coaches, Creative Minds etc.
Also ideas from long ago , also cutlure , and religious ideas,
Then take this into one huge blue print , as this would be a huge puzzle of ideas , from elite , people , on networks, to form  a print , that works for many, as it is like a bridge , that is strong , and also forgiving, and is bendable.
I see these blueprints, that many say will stop war,  yet does it stop? 
When a coach for sports comes up with their idea , and they form a group to see if they can work as a team to out play the other team. Does it work all the time , is there always one winner all the time?

What I see , are the stronger teams , are the ones that really mesh , and work together , and work together , because they work well together.

When you look at this , and worl peace , then it is not about one , it is about many working as one, to come up with a plan that will work, and continue to work , over , and over again.

There are many, many sites for peace, many groups and
activities.

And although I agree with you GAIA GODESS that the stronger
teams work well together, I believe, as always, that to be truly
successful, ALL teams need to co-late under the one “umbrella”.

ONE PEACE, ONE PLANET -
unity is the only way that we will achieve success and we
are still divided and in some case even competitive.

Perhaps  this year, that can be narrowed down -we need to
choose our main trunk of our peace tree, pole, or whatever
symbol it may be, and although we can be branches,
we ALL need to come from the one main stem.

Otherwise we are not working together, not drawing strength
on TOTAL Peace Power,
we are still as divided as the Government wishes us to be/
Collectively our voices will be thunderous,
in splinter groups, but a rumble.

Interesting Sandy , as this has been somethingthat I have been researching , and I have a painting , that is almost done regading this , as does someone else , I will see if I can post it.
Here is an idea , again I ams sure I am repeating myself.
We could get people here , going into other sites , and finding some of these people , and then once we all get our elite team together.
Unvail this place, were it will unbrella , like Sandy was saying , many avenues , and ideas.
Until then we will always be unsure , and uncertain where , to go.
So we have much work , and also we have to some how form a team of who will focus on what , or what site , and also what aveune.
As we all have our own unique qualitiy?

maybe we could start by visualising all the organisations becoming “one” and put our attention to this on a daily basis.  This way we are opening a channel for unity to happen, for people to “come together” for the common cause.  We are in the process of “wholeness” - it is good when many of like mind join together.

As this place is not about me , or you , it is about we , as one.

I am glad you agree with me,Taikunping and
GAIA GODESS  -that we must work on uniting all
Peace Groups.

And focussing every day on such, will be even more beneficial
if we research the other groups and make contact with them.

I too, will again focus on promoting our Global Peace Network
on the net,hopefully to bring new members here, but also just to make our presence known.

I will make that my goal this year, a task I have already begun, but
have not worked on as much as i would have liked to.

We can add links to other groups here also -and I will check out your pod,
GG -though I hope to keep the focus here -where we have begun
gathering -otherwise we are defeating the purpose, in a way!

Hi Sandy and Gaia Goddess

I'm thinking that if we hold this intention in our minds, every time we post and link with all souls within our communities, both local and on the net, if we feel it happening in our own hearts - the coming together - it will be a good start.

It is an awareness of our potential as humanity, and we are expanding as the universe is expanding, we are making links, especially here on Gaia and through Peace Groups all over the world.  Our local meditation/prayer group sends out prayer to mother earth and humanity and to all souls who need help.  It is like being lots of dots of light, which are expanding in luminosity and all joining together like bright stars in the night sky….

It is right to work as one for peace. If peace groups can't work together then who can?
I suppose the stumbling blocks will be politics, religion and inequality as usual. We must counter them with co-operation, spirituality and quality.

Hi Sandy , and all,

My focus this year will be on Education,health, and wellbeing.
As I believe , with out these , factors , how can we be peacful within our own selves?
I also believing that it will be essential to combine many in to one .
So many sources of education :
This is very wide , and vast range, so It includes many , and many cultures , beliefs ,ways , of educating. This would be elusive , unique.

Health , and wellness , works with education , stress is a big factor, and education , brings a wealth of knowledge , also can help with the best health , and wellness plan for many.
People have to learn to think of health vs sickness.
Wellness plan vs label.
It is a whole new way at focusing your mind set , and educating others .

So if we can some how brainstorm ideas , and work with other's by networking . My belief is that it would be wonderful to take this as many links, many doors , that are unlocked , to produce a sanctuary of peace , love , and wellbeing.

So if we do this here what we may want to have is various subtitles , as there are many factors to look at , when taking a life size puzzel , blueprint to world peace.

I love your posts - there is so much care, compassion and good thought created here - it's amazing, and wonderful.  Thank you all, this is so uplifting.  Each time we post we are full of peaceful and compassionate loving thought.  We are constructing peace and joy on earth. 
Lets send all this love outwards into the entire world, until the world is saturated with beauty.  Always shall we come back to our inner sanctuary deep within our self, then once more we are ready to go outwards like a huge breath of love, then back to the sanctuary.  May we continue in this way…..

Hello all I have been doing much thinking about this , and what I feeling is that unite is about we , so when we do something with this it has to be about all , and not about money , it is about working together for the greater of all.
Yes , and if someday we may have something that we can do some amazing thing on it , yet when we get creative , we can really work for free , if we wanted:)

Good to see that you agree with UNITE theory, GG
and have started a unite page on the ning network (12th Jan).

I am also a member of a number of groups relative
to peace within the ning network.
There are even other Gaia members there too!

But at the end of the day -I love my Gaia and feel my loyalty
is here.It takes a lot of net time to keep up with everything,
so I had to choose my priority.

As I get into the swing of this year, I will add links to those
other networks here, however, so we at least know of them.

Now-the trick is UNITING them all !!!

Has anyone tried a peace mandala?

Had a go with this one last year - It's full of the phrase “Peace is in my heart” working from the inside out!  So I have a lot of work to do I think to birth it, a bit at a time….It's great to join with others, but peace has always got to begin with ourselves - lets all keep working on becoming peaceful deep inside ourselves…

Look forward to your input on this.  Gaia in peace and wholeness, no separation.  Maybe if we think it we become it.  This part of the creative process always takes time - It brings to my mind the picture of the goddess birthing the earth - I've seen the picture on this site…….

Are we having interviews….do we need an  advert - can anyone apply, or should we just go with the flow and see what happens….
