Co-Writing / Editing a Book

Marky Mark said Dec 1, 2007, 11:59 AM:

Hi Everyone,

My name is Mark and I am working on editing a book on dreams that I guess you could say that I co-wrote. The book is entitled: “Discourses on Dreams - A Field guide to Dreams” and is a compilation of conversations between myself and a channeled Entity called Kris.

As far as the conversations go and the typing up of said conversations, the book is done. My job now is to string these conversations together and create chapters, a table of contents, preface, etc.

While I am doing this, Kris is planning volume 2 and is creating dream workshops for people to participate in. Dreams afterall are communications with the Source of your own Being, your Essence Self or in some religions your SOUL.

Adam,

To answer your question, Serge goes into trance and ALLOWS Kris to speak through him. Kris and I have conversations about dreams, mainly from HIS perspective which is VERY different than the human perspective.

Kris and Serge have a synergy. Not all channelers have this. When Kris speaks though Serge, Serge usually doesn't remember much unless the conversation is regarding subject matter that he is dealing with in his life. When I talk to Serge afterward and start to tell him about my conversation with Kris he will start to remember.

The synergy part is that he does not have to be in trance to speak to Kris himself. He has conversations in his head with Kris that is very different than the normal conversations that we hold in our minds. also, Kris provides Serge with DOWNLOADS of PACKETS of information into Serge's consciousness that he will “unzip” at a later date when he needs that information.

I hope this helps.

It's funny about the not remembering thing…. At the last two benefits for my theatre company, I've been doing different forms of divination. Both times, I found it hard to recall what I had read for other people unless they started to remind me first. I think it's a way of letting us know that the information wasn't really intended for us, we were just the vessel.

Hi Mark,

Your job as you describe it sounds quite challenging.  Are you stringing the conversation together based on chronology, or subject matter, or what?

On the other hand, it is an opportunity to really spend a lot of time with the material.  Good luck with the project.

Hi Rhed,

To answer your questions and comments, YES Kris can help me with all stages of this book. I am trying to pull my weight on my own because it interests me. I want to be involved on all levels and not just the receiver of information.

Kris has presented all kinds of information and material that I take to heart. When he offers a meditation or a practice, I DO it. In fact, that is one of Kris' major comments is that people should do less intellectualizing and more DOING. :)

Anyways, to get back to your questions, the book will be in order of delivery of the conversations and the conversations can jump around. There is a very specific reason for this. Dreams are NOT linear. They jump around. You pop into one and finish off in another. Have you noticed that you never enter a dream at the beginning and you never leave at the end?

That in itself should tell you something about dreams. :) Oops. I'm starting to reveal secrets from the book. It's not the first time. I am a member of the Dream Garden Pod here on Zaadz and I have been dropping little goodies over there as well.

As a result of my work with Kris, I have become somewhat of a dream archeologist. I study my dreams. I delve into them. I DIG into them and unearth them. Kris tells me that in the future there will dream archeologists as a career. I am just a novice now, but may be paving the way for generations of specialists. It, from my perspective is a career worth pursuing.

Getting back to topic AGAIN, you are right. It is an opportunity to really spend a lot of time with the material and in discovering WHOM and WHAT I am.

Mark,

Good Luck with your project. Don't forget that Kris can help with this phase of the book too… There are invaluable contribution Kris can make about stringing all the content together so it flows and engages the reader.

Hi Adam,

I've been studying this intently for about seven years now and the information is ALWAYS for you. You may not be ready for it yet or you may not know how to decipher it yet, but it is for you because it is FROM you. It is from the SOURCE of your own BEING.

The dream state is more attuned to ourt natural state of Being and communication at that level is very foreign to us as physical beings because it is non-linear. Consciousness does not use words or language, but rather imagery and feeling tones. With a little practice and effort you or anyone for that matter can learn to develop interpreting skills.

Dream journalling is a great tool because it allows one to create a Rosetta Stone on the language of their own consciousness. In regards to your divination, I would suggest that you don't give up. Keep trying and don't rush yourself.

Also, do keep in mind that when it comes to divination, many people think that they will see the exact images and teh exact faces, places, etc, but in reality one needs to be able to decipher the messages. In fact, it is said that 80% of dreams have precognitive ELEMENTS.

Hey, Mark. I hear what you're saying, but I must respectfully disagree. The times I have read tea leaves or tarot cards for the people who have attended the benefit, I have little way of seeing what their questions and the “answers” I give them have to do with me. Their questions are normally the kind you think of with a tarot reading: career, love life, etc. (Except one girl, when I asked her, “What do you want your reading to be about?” said, “God.” And that was actually a very interesting reading.)  Generally speaking, the things I read deal with realtively mundane matters of other people's lives. I generally don't use divination to try to uncover any big secrets about life. I keep my eyes open, catching bits and pieces, gathering data, waiting till I have enough information to grok. (Three cheers to those who recognize the refrence…. and I know you're out there!)
I have never felt particularly talented at divination though a most of the people I read for seem satisfied and affected by what I tell them. I'm actually really not that interested in actively developing it either. After eight or nine-ish years of exploring different forms of divination, I've lost interest and find it unnecessary to the particular questions I have. When dreams come, I interpert them. When I have a question and a god somewhere lights a spark in my mind to use the tarot, I do so, but it is rare. For my own journey, I feel I just need to try to keep my eyes and heart more open and a combination of what I see around me and what I feel within me will eventually grant me the “answers” I seek. Though really, the best answers are just a more developed series of questions, I think…. Leads to more thinking and more doing and more experiences. One of the ways I look at my own life is to try to collect in my soul as many different experiences as possible. It's one of the many reasons I love to act so much.

Point taken Adam,

I misinterpreted your Wednesday 12:18 post to say something different that what is saying. I took it to be a discounting of Self and of your talents, to be ONLY a vessel and the messages are not for you.

Hi Mark, I have been keeping a dream journal on and off for a while,at lest to where I can remember them. Now I have also been spending long hours in warm water meditating and went out, maybe fell asleep, for 5 to 6 hours, but I have been unable to bring it back…I wake up and there is a blank…Is it something about the water and the un-concious mind? Do you have a take on this?Rafael

Hi Waterheart,

Water is representative of consciousness. Like water, we could not survive without it. It surrounds us and makes up most of our body mass.

I don't claim to have all of the answers or any of them for that matter, but I SUSPECT that because you spent time meditating in warm water, you may have actually been able to go to a much DEEPER layer of consciousness within the dream state. A layer so deep that your conscious mind has no memory of it or may not be able to INTERPRET the imagery or energy so it chooses to dismiss it AT THIS TIME.

This does not mean that you will never be able to remember or interpret these deep dreams. Before you go to bed, gently ask your dream self to assist you in remembering and interpreting these deep dreams. Keep writing that dream journal. Write down ANYTHING that you remember, even if it is just to say that I remember having a dream, but don't remember it.

Sooner or later you will remember more and more and even more.

Thank you Mark, what you said about going to very deep levels rings true, when I meditate in an awake state I find that the water supports a much deeper space than land.I can relax into the water and it supports me.In the deeper relaxing comes this meditation space ,if I hold out long enough I just disappear for timeless periods. I will try to use my land dreams to work on the watery ones…thanks Rafael
