Hello, Oh playful podsters,
today I played a new game with myself & with the world and am inviting you to play too, pretty please. I would like this game o' Mine to become international (naaah/intergalactic, and/or intercosmic). It all began when I started having mean old side effects to yet another new medecine I am told I have to take to make me better. One side effect was swollen feet, due to water retention so one of my doctors, sent me to a vascular specialist for X ray tests. I went this morning. Now for those of you who don't know me I am achingly funny, terribly talented and madengly modest. If it weren't for the MM factor I would be practically perfect, or basically & boringly banal and I am having none of that. ta very much. So I arrived at Doctor Edith George's office a little before 11 AM and was delighted that it was a colourful and welcoming place from the word Go. it had Good vibes. And the good Doctor welcommed me in her best French and was downright charming. And I noticed she had what looked like a Fresh tatoo on her shoulderblade. So I took that as a starting point. I asked her if it was a plane and she explained that it was a ULM ( which is a light , motorised,glider. Don't know the technical name for it.)But here was a lady with wings on her shouler blade, surely a heavenly creature.
And though perfectly professional, she was Humungously human & wonderfully warm. Among other things. I explained my woes and on the tatoo score I showed her my shoulder tatoo which is an ornate letter D. from the book of Kells. She told me that the word for that in French was “Enluminure” An ornate Capital letter used in transcriptions of the bible to introduce chapters or sections ( the only translation I found for it on the net was an unsatisfactory “minature Drawing” . So I decided I wanted to be un Enluminure, or a Capital Ornate pointer to the Artistic and Spiritual soul in myself & others. And so started my new Word Game. For the rest of the day I asked everyone I came across if they would be so kind as to offer me a word so that I could use my collction to write myself a new life. I would like you to please add to my word collection here So that I can write myself a new life.
