I'm a cut and paste techie too Sprite and I despise Firefox for not even allowing me to cut and paste my own pictures without jumping thru a million hoops! I also want to be able to post a picture HERE and can't... GGGGrrrrrrrrr! (insert picture here of a very pissed off lion) that kind of a GGGGrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

It takes away from content when clicking a link and being directed to an entirely different page.

Following groups, on the other hand, should be a bit easier. I followed this thread by seeing there was something NEW in Playpod! Otherwise I wouldn't have known about this discussion. Granted, I only read the first post and am assuming all the rest of the content which is a notoriously bad way of 'following' anything.

But, if you don't have the group already listed on your profile then who knows how long it will take for you to find it?

So much of the fun in playpod was our songs and games and pictures etc. I was thinking last night how almost impossible it would have been to do the smiley wedding blog as things are now. I do not have a lot of patience for learning how to link and post in this new procedure. I am a cut and paste kind of techie :)
I tried to post a picture here of me in a car with a scarf and never could get it to link :(

And I agree, elisa, I can't follow the groups. Is there a method to it? I clicked on your post that I saw on my home page or probably would not have made it here! btw, we can let the gaia team know our feelings....now to find that group..

it's very hard to follow groups too, messy and not attractive, hard to see where you have been and where to find what was fun to see, speak about, and to play with, i have noticed that group usage has just about ended in all of them, this occurred after this messy shift....i wonder if any staff have noticed or that they wanted this to occur

Thanks Nicole, I knew something was different, actually a lot of things are different :( We used to be able to do such cool things - even for a non-tech person like me. Does hotlinking cause a problem?

Elisa, they changed that quite a few months ago to prevent hotlinking. You have to download and attach the photo to the post.

I cheated slightly and added arms. The Tummy person should have added the arms. If I catch her, I'll take her to the sheriff and make sure she is destroyed.

These bizarre compositions were explained by Nicolas Calas as revealing the "unconscious reality in the personality of the group."

The group here was just me - think how BIZARRE they will be when we all get going!
