Lazy, Lazy Friday

I hope I am posting this in the right place.  I tried very hard to figure out just the right category for it.  The children and I were reluctant to crawl out of bed this morning, and thus we lounged, all piled on mama's bed.  Of course, we couldn't just lay there, we had to play, so we wrote a monster song.  I'd like to share it with all of you.

(Sing-songish, wherever the words lead the melody)

Mama:
Where, oh where does a monster live?

Children:
In a Monster House!

Mama:
In a monster house..
Where, oh where does a monster play?

Children:
Outside!

Mama:
Outside..
Where, oh where does a monster hide?

Children:
Under the bed!

Mama:
Under the bed…
Where, oh where does a monster lay it's sleepy head?

Children:
In a monster bed!

Mama:
In a monster bed…
Where, oh where does a monster eat?

Children:
At the table!

Mama:
At the table…
And where, oh where does a monster read?

Children:
In the living room!

Mama:
In the living room…
What, oh what does a monster do?
Do they scare you?

Children:
Yes!

Mama: *softer tone for this last line*
What, oh what does a monster say, when they're lonely?

Children & Mama:
Come play!

————-
And there you have a monster song.  Hope you enjoy.

May we always take that road less travelled by,
Diane

LOVE the Monster Song!  What does he look like? I wondered right away. Is he different on Lazy, Lazy Fridays than he is on Manic Mondays?

Don't worry too much about where things get placed. We are pretty laid back and a lot of things could easily fit into several categories.

[I'm one of those rare and wonderful people who can confuse things further by putting them into categories rather than making them easier to find.  One we get the Table of Contents up-dated, it will be easier.]
