It is possible to learn a lot by considering other peoples poems and it will help your own poetic craft. riddle me this

Riddles! aren't they so much fun! heres one, try to solve it.

the first person to guess it right gets to do the next one.

Only one color, but not one size, 
Stuck at the bottom, yet easily flies. 
Present in sun, but not in rain, 
Doing no harm, and feeling no pain. 
What is it?

Bonus: 
I can sizzle like bacon, 
I am made with an egg, 
I have plenty of backbone, but lack a good leg, 
I peel layers like onions, but still remain whole, 
I can be long, like a flagpole, yet fit in a hole, 
What am I?

I'm thinking sunlight for the first one…does sunlight get stuck at the bottom?  Roller coaster?  For a second I thought puddle…but no. 

And i'm stumped on the second one…  Is it made when the chicken makes the egg or when the eggs cooked?

Book of revelations? There is actually a book called past present and future, and a publisher too!

well yeah i was actually thinking the whole Bible. it tells the past of Israel, the Jews, Gentiles, etc….. it tells how we should act like in the ten commandments plus a whole bunch more. and The Book of Revelations is the future part
