Zephyr Asking folks to remember guidelines, 2 comments on other poems per one post of your own pretty please.! It is possible to learn a lot by considering other peoples poems and it will help your own poetic craft. Don't be shy,and stick to critique of the poem - not the poet., if you are new to critique, just share what you liked and what worked for you in the poem, and anything that did not work for you. Hello to all fellow poets!

I just discovered the website a couple of days ago and was thrilled to see a poets workshop!  I used to write all the time, in every spare moment but now, it's a rare moment that I devote to writing.  I am stuck and look forward to a bit of a kick in the butt to get me going again.
I look forward to diving into poetry once again…thanks for the opportunity.

Hi poetjo, glad you found us, do post some of your work, there is an area here for finnished poems, and workshop if you want some feedback. I find reading others work often stimulates ideas, nature too gives me inspiration, or a visit somewhere new. You could try the cinquain train, last two words to start your new poem off.
