It is possible to learn a lot by considering other peoples poems and it will help your own poetic craft. She brings me a pale strawberry
While I'm sitting on the loo,
The last one in the garden,
Says, ” Dad, this is for you”.

I don't know what I'd do without her-
There simply is no place
That she won't come and find me,
A smile upon her face.

For Nessa always finds things-
No matter what is lost,
Nessa's sure to find it.
She's found me in the past

When I've been lost and lonely,
Nowhere to lay my head,
She brought me hope- like strawberries,
Who cares if they're not red!

Oh, this is just so gosh darn cute and sweet…sweeter than all the strawberries of the world.  Nessa reminds me of my six year old niece…..what a joy….everyone needs to have someone like Nessa in their lives….what would we really do without them.
