I'm not sure I understand, D.U. Wouldn't merging with another pod just make the membership larger and more impossible to email? Pls explain how it might help.

One thing I'd like to say, Michael, is that even neglected and abandoned, left to go to weeds, this group has continued to have posts and threads which are IMO valuable to our community !!!!

Here are some brainstorms:

Maybe things have changed now with the new server. I'd email ~Matthew to see exactly what the max size for emailing Group members is at present. And if that doesn't bring an answer, check with Siona again, or you might check with Chris. He's very responsive.

And if it were me, I'd be asking them all what it would take to enable the mailing of 3000+ members of one pod.

Q&R is a group now, and it has over 15,000 members, and I think the Team must occasionally send emails to the whole group. You could ask about that. How do those members get their info about the daily Q?

One not-great workaround would be to really lean on Vision Cafe members to get onto Notifications, so your posts to the group would be sent via email to all those on Notifications..... We've yet to be able to get data, as mods, about who is and who isn't on our group notifications, but if you bombard people with the necessity of doing that, you might get, I dunno, maybe 80-95% compliance......

Just some thoughts.

Hi all... It's Michael, the one who started this group a few years back.

It quickly grew to about 3,000 members and was at one time the largest group.

Then we ran into a snag: An apparent technical problem with being able to email group members, which led me to eventually discontinue my efforts to build this group or stay in touch.

hmmm...

I'm in a quandry with this support issue that has been going on at least a year, maybe a year and a half...

I've emailed about it, posted to the support pod about it - and no resolution whatsoever.

Dearest Siona has been kind enough to reply to my personal emails to her (she's always been an incredible support!), and yet it's still unresolved. And it's at the heart of why I've not continued to build my community on gaia (at one time the fastest growing one).

Love you all... and wondering what it will take to ever resolve this.

Standing for Gaia as a community, a web portal and an organization that can bring about greatest lasting change in the world.

Curious what should my next step be... because emailing is resulting in no solution. Thoughts?

Wow! I like it... I like your passion.

I get your need to be grounded in "reality" and to lead people to "God" and away from "butterflies and unicorns"... but, it seems you've got truth and faith a bit collapsed. Are they synonyms? Is faith based on the observable reality you trust so much or is it an intangible source of power and freedom that is gifted from God? Can you "know" faith or isn't it a never ending process of discovery?

I believe all our values are intangible. Our mistake is to try to fulfill intangible needs and values through tangible means.

I love what you have said here Andy -and I do agree with you.
Although I am not sure if we can create a myth in our own time -
I am sure we can create one for future generations to look back on !

Our entire idealogy is created on a myth, which has beocme a rigid
truth to many -I do not believe that is good for human nature and I
do believe that is what is impeeding us from gaining our spiritual oneness.

Before peace can prevail on earth -it has to be achieved~

When we embrace solar, water and wind technology so that the grid is supported by the individuals, there will be less need to control the oil of mother earth, less war and less exploitation.

When we are so spiritual that we can, as do all the other biological beings on this earth, live in true harmony and abundance with each other and mother earth, we will have peace.

I understand. I am also a writer and on the web. Although the work, the research and the independence are great, building some economic stability is a challenge.

I recently got a free reading from SoulRealignment.com, and she said that my energy was low..... I have a feeling that if my energy was higher, then my site's energy would be higher.

What do you think?

greetings earthling(s)!

i feel compelled to write a response because your vision resonates with areas of interest that have literally consumed me for years. The following synopsis may already be familiar to you, but others may benefit from such information, generally considered to be a little too 'far out' for the 'mainstream' here in this country(USA.) These 'theories' and the research from which they evolved is very controversial and challenging to those still hung up upon religious models of history & existence and the prevailing rational paradigm and avaricious mindset at play here.

The images of Pyramids, Phoenixes and even the Caduceus have their origins in Egyptian Alchemical lore, as well suggesting a parallel to the ancient civilizations of Central & Eastern Mexico. The Phoenix with 2 heads is reminiscent of eastern European flag symbols(2 headed eagles) from the Black Sea region as well as connections to the feathered serpent of Aztec & Mayan civilizations also. The stacked double pyramid conjures up notions of a time machine with it's hour-glass shape, if I got it right. And that suggests one theory as to the purpose of their design in both Egypt & Mexico [designed by the same entity, I hear, called Thoth in Egypt & Ninghizhida in Sumeria.]

Our current economic & environmental crises portend a monumental shift of some kind. Perhaps just a change of ruling paradigms or a polar shift of some sort, but something quite dramatic & different from what we're living under now. Our conception of time itself is about to be transformed. Proof of this is already evident in Quantum Physics, where such concepts as parallel universes and spooky action-at-a-distance.

In my studies I've come across some cogent explanations for the potential meanings behind some of these these icons that inhabit your visions. Most notable is the work of Laurence Gardner and his friend & colleague Zecharia Sitchin. Gardner's oeuvre begins with the geneology of the ancient bloodlines involved with that whole Da Vinci Code controversy. But where that was a fictional portrayal which may also have been a betrayal of certain aspects of the truth to that story, Gardner's approach is purely historical, analytical, very detailed and compelling. In tracing this line through etymological & genealogical techniques he stumbled upon the link between Egyptian, Jewish & Christian mysticism and it's dependance upon spiritual enlightenment and healing systems which formed the basis of our understanding of what Alchemy really was and still is today.

His extensive research into the ancient past lead him to the very cutting edge of Quantum Mechanics & Physics as we know it today. Of course, certain Tibetan Buddhist intellectual concepts suggest that they also were aware of such things as particles smaller than atoms way back in the distant past. Gardner's book, Lost Secrets of the Sacred Ark details these scientific advancements and makes the connections between the fairly recent discovery of Superconductivity and it's existence deep into our past.

This new 'green' technology forms the basis of work in the fields of high-speed bullet trains{magLev versions,} fuel cell technology, antigravity applications, space-age propulsions systems and even cancer research, as the introduction of single atoms of certain precious metals such as Gold & the Platinum Group have been proven very promising in repairing the DNA of affected cancerous cells.

Gardner gives historical examples from variuos civilazation which employed these substances for healing purposes and spiritual enlightment. It was the manna which Moses fed to the Israelites during their desert sojourn, after discovering the golden calf fashioned by his brother Aaron. He 'burned'
it, but instead of melting it transmuted into a mystical white powder that could be ingested without the threat of poisoning.

Similar descriptions comprise the work of both Medieval and modern alchemists in their quest for the mysterious
"Philosopher's Stone." Moreover, he found other evidence of it's existence and it's spiritual & healing uses throughout Mesopotamia, Egypt and the Mediterranean world. The connection between the Phoenix and this White Powder of Gold is obvious, since the process of it's transmutation is reversible.

The caduceus is also explained by Gardner in this context
as being emblematic of the heath-giving and enlightening properties inherent in these substances. The snake or snakes coiling up the central shaft suggests parallels to DNA as well as to the Vedic Kundalini, the lifeforce energy which travels up the 33 vertebrae to the top node of the pineal gland associated with the crown chakra(33 is also the number of levels in Masonic lore which every adept aspires towards.) The wings symbolize the enlightened bicameral ventricles of the Brain when enlivened by spiritual practice and the release of certain glandular secretions, which can be simulated through these elemental elixirs and mineral supplements. This enlightened state is referred to as 'the Swan' in Vedic lore and in the Romantic literature associated with the quest for the Holy Grail, now thought to be more of a dynastic bloodline of kingship than a mere chalice that Jesus the Nazarene supposedly drank from during his Last Supper.

Somewhere between Gardner's view and the theories of Sitchin your visions resonate and reside. Sitchin adds that connection to the ancient civilizations of Mexico, where this white bearded entity emerged from the sea and framed their burgeoning villages with precisely designed Megolithic structures and taught the native inhabitants many lessons
about the earth & the heavens and their interrelationships and shared history.

It was he, who was called Quetalcoatl and Ku'Kul'khan, that developed their understanding of phenomena on earth and in the sky. That he was referred to as a feathered serpent and prophesied to return in 2012 to those same pyramids and ziggurats he built there and elsewhere that augurs well with your unique visions of the future. I envision Harmony.

I
have had visions of a twin headed phoenix. Perhaps others know this
bird better, perhaps not. This is a very humbling vision, if that gives
any visionaries a context.

The twin headed phoenix is sometimes coupled with visions of the upside down pyramid on top of the the stationary pyramid.

Yet the caduceus is quite uniquely constant through out all of my visions.

I will leave this for interpretation.

I am a network marketer and I definitely struggle with this very same challenge. It's like I fail, I fail, then fail again, and the only thing that I can say is that 'I believe' and I get up the next day and try something else. I think Abraham Lincoln had these same experiences, and then became a great, great president.

In the drawing, Grant Wallace has ego as the very outside source of our being next to divine man....which is one who's totally transcended his or her ego... and become this totally divine human being doing exactly what they came here for, needing no ego I guess.

It's just interesting that beyond soul, spirit and intellect is this energy we call the ego. the layer that we must utilize to expand our being like a stepping stone into outer space to say...

If you look in the very center of the drawing it says "Black Light"
I think that this is what some people think ego is, and that's what it feels like it should be, but according to this drawing, it is not. It must be different.
