A friend of mine called me earlier, something he wouldn't do unless he was desperate for something.

He asked for my prayers for a friend of his (and said friend's family), because his friend is in a coma at the moment and things don't look good.

I wanted to pass it on.  I don't know the boy, but I know his sister, and for some reason it seems important to pray for healing.  I've heard of too many untimely deaths recently…

Sad news.  Apparently the situation is worse than I thought, and the family is planning on taking him off life support.  Please, continue your prayers…
