As I meantioned to her, I am currently planning a Healing and Light Gathering to Honor, Heal and Restore the Balance between the Female and Male Spirituality and Physical Reality for the Saturday after the Autumn Equinox (Mabon), that is September26th. I will post more details as I am able.

How wonderful to see this new thread dealing with sacred sexuality!  I will certainly be posting to this regularly, and would also like to encourage everyone to participate in the weekly Thursday meditations that I have started, which you have so graciously posted a link to in your original message on this board.  Please–I would encourage anyone whom any of you may know to also become involved if this calls to you/them.  Meenakshi, I'd like to offer a bit of clarification here for folks on the meditation itself, as I did in the original thread with it, after your and Claudia's responses last evening.  Please be advised that with the “Calling Forth Divine Feminine for Personal and Planetary Healing” meditation, that the overall goal is to bring forth ALL aspects of divine goddess energy, as all are needed to be brought into harmony with the complimentary divine god (masculine) energy at this time.  The meditation itself is not elaborate, but rather designed to be repetititive in nature, so as to also allow for the individual to focus inward with the breath and see what may turn up for them specifically at any given time in relation to goddess energy.  “She” is after all the great nurturer and will attend to the individual as well as the all. 

As for how I experienced Feminine/Masculine divinity today, let me say that I am excited to announce that I have taken on a masculine counterpart in this overall work that I do, and that he and I are in hot pursuit of developing class structures, seminars, co-blogs and the like, and that there will be more on this soon.  I just got off of the phone with him before checking Gaia and he and I are working on the interplay of our sacred sexual energies coming together for the greater good.

Thank you Tracy. I will say though, that for me, the Feminine - Masculine divinity is not sexual in essence; and that it is not that aspect that would draw in members of this group. I may not have understood your message correctly, and if so, then please let me know.

Hi Meenakshi,

When I refer to sexual energies, or divine sexuality, or sacred sexuality, or sexuality anything for that matter in relation to divinity or God, I am in no way suggesting to focus on what we think of as physical sex—does this answer your question?  I am rather simply finding  words to express the fact that there are  gender differences.  Good heavens,  neither did I mean to suggest that I and my new counterpart will be engaging in physical sex in order to create healing energy for our world.  I hope this clarifies–guess I'll be careful when I use the word sexuality and be very, very clear about what I am referring to at any given time.  I do hope that helped.  The last thing on my agenda is to exploit or misuse, and now here again my inclination was to use the word sexual, but instead I'll say divinely ordained gender differentiating energy.

On this day I have been asked to step into the mystery of this divine masculine/feminine dance.  There is an individual who is very near and dear to me who desperately needs my help.  He shares past life experiences with me, and there have been dreams between us that have remained unfulfilled.  I am asked to offer my light to him and surround him in the womb of my divine femininity.  Although there is in a sense a temporary loss on my part due to my attending to his needs and dealing with his darkness, in the end I am told the miracle happens, and both he and I are better off than before.

What a fascinating piece that you directed me to regarding Mother Earth!  I feel the energetic shifting and movement in the right direction very recently also–and bear witness to the powerful expansion of it that is occurring here at Gaia.  Today my experience of the divine centers around the Feminine as I feel a sensation in my belly of “her” as the day progresses toward the time of the Feminine meditation and the Gaia evening minute—a sense of getting ready to give birth.

Today my thoughts are revolving around true love, which has been inspired due to my reading Robert Fulghums book by the same title.

In Robert Fulghum's book entitled “True Love” he makes the point that people's perceptions and experiences of what they define as love, can be as varied and unique as the individual who has his/her story to share. Ranging from a “crush”, to a momentary encounter, to a “death do us part”…love and the memories of it that touch our hearts are often what keep us moving forward and keep us sane.

Today, I'd like to ask you all to share a personal story of love. In Fulghum's book, he makes the candid and reality inducing point, that although we all may have love stories of our own, they don't always end up short and sweet. Case in point, Fulghum shares a letter early on in the book from a wife to her husband:

“My Dearest Harry,
I hate you, I hate you, I hate you
Respectfully with all my Love,
Edna”

In a way, I think this says it all. While relationships between the sexes can be difficult, painful, eye opening, exasperating and even something we have to “get over” and heal–I don't think any of us would have traded the experiences for anything else in our world. When all is said and done, I”m convinced it is better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all. The love we have encountered in our lives helps define who we are.

The love story that comes to mind from own life today, is one that I will always remember as the most innovative way I've ever been asked out on a date.

I was a junior in college, and also had a part time job as office assistant to the Chairman of the Sociology department. Several times a week, one of my duties was to make bank deposits for the department at a nearby branch, within walking distance of the campus. I enjoyed the opportunity to get out of the office and breathe the fresh air. On this particular day, there was a local festival going on called “We Love Erie Days” which lasted about 10 days or so during the month of August. Carnival rides, games, food booths….. and the like lined the main street in the downtown area, where the bank branch was also located. After making the deposit, I made a quick stop at one of the food booths for a sinful delight. A charming young man behind the stand, struck up a conversation with me—-he and I were both in college–he Penn State—I at Gannon University—were both working summer jobs—-both from Erie…..you get the drill. As the days passed more bank deposits were required— more encounters with said charming male. During one such encounter, my carnival companion insisted that I MUST help alleviate his boredom by grabbing some free game tickets at the neighboring booth and fill them out and toss them in a fishbowl for the hourly drawing. Falling completely for his ruse at this point, I obliged, and then followed orders that he would keep the stubs for me and watch to see if my name were called while I was slaving away back at work. Next bank deposit required—last day or so of said carnival. My companion hails me over by telling me that my name was indeed called and that I had won!——-won what—–what could it be?? A stuffed bear, a plastic toy, a cheap necklace….whatever it was, it was wrapped in tissue paper and its contents were not to be revealed until I was back at work, so as to give me something more than filing and phone answering to look forward to—still falling for this—as I made my way back to campus, I tore open the tissue paper which revealed a single longstem red rose and a card with the words “Dinner? —please RSVP ASAP”. I walked back far enough for him to see me with the rose in my hand and once I caught his eye–I mouthed the word YES. We dated for the remainder of the summer.

Are there any other romantics out there in cyberland who may have a story to share? Any other reality check stories that we can all relate to the bittersweetness of?

It's wonderful how Feminine-Masculine divinity is experienced in everyday situations. I remember attending a talk once, in which the speaker was describing how we begin to see love songs with a new look,when we have the 'spiritual' perspective. As we expand, even an otherwise ordinary event reveals the layers of meaning and vibration surrounding it.

It's specially significant this week, as many Hindus celebrate Navaratri, a festival of nine nights in which the Divine Feminine or Goddess is worshiped, with fasting, prayer and dance.

Some information in this group and in the Heritage group.  The nine days show different aspects of the goddess, and as we think of the divine archetypal aspect of this, we can awaken the different aspects within ourselves.

I'm not sure if this fits the “divinity”part of this thread, but my response is:
By, first of all, asking a man to be my friend, even though, technically, as the woman, I'm supposed to wait for him to ask me.  On this one, patience is a virtue, which is still knocking on my door, I'm afraid.  Whatever a connection is going to evolve into, it's difficult for me to sit around and just wait for the energy to come and find me, especially in the days of diminishing light, seasonally speaking, that is!

I understand the need for patience myself, as I'm always looking for things to improve or be “as they should be”.  I find the cure for it though, is to be ever aware that the only person I can change  and really have control over is myself.  I hope you find what you are looking for with your new friend.  There is nothing wrong with you taking the initiative here even though technically speaking it is a more masculine trait.  The key is–were you comfortable in your own skin doing it, or was it merely the patience issue that was manifesting itself?

Today I am reflecting on last night's experience of the Divine Feminine meditation and also reviewing what Meenakshi posted about Navarati above, and how there was synchronicity for me in seeing both in my past and present, that I can be the sacred feminine warrior who will take on the role of battling evil.  Although not always a pleasant task–it has made me stronger.  Also understanding that “battling” from the feminine standpoint means recognizing that evil is present, addressing it verbally, and asking that divine consequence take place so growth can occur—any actual battling, and the specifics of how divine consequence will be initiated is then turned over to my sacred masculine warrior helpers.

Beautiful serene golden threads… I have been performing 9:09 The Gaia Minute.  Order is going into Mother Earth as we all unite in meditation.  We put calm into 3 earthquakes and we helped a team send Volunteer Ministers to all three areas to assist survivors & I went to a meeting tonight & raised funds to get airline tickets & food covered for some going from here.  It felt like both of my feminine and masculine divinity were in motion & I have a better example of putting order into our Home.

Tracy, perhaps there is an  aspect of  Feminine-Masculine divinity that I've felt but it came clear to me today.

Feminine Divinity is in deep meditation while active in the manifest world.

In our personal lives, this can manifest when we are deeply grounded, not attached to mother earth, but connected in light, with energy clear, and connected to other beings on earth [ animal, human, plant, stone] from the heart, expanded to the heavens.

I wonder if something like this is brought out in your workshops. The more 'work' I am asked to do with people, the more I realize the deep importance of grounding in light so  that this can manifest.

every day I experience this strongly in my relationship. The feminine and masculine energies flow in and through us, sometimes the feminine from him or the masculine from me or vice versa, but always very fluid and very eagerly welcomed. The energies are more clearly defined because we are far away from each other. There is no distraction of physical presence.

I certainly agree that Feminine Divinity can center around going deep within and owning that place from the heart.  Staying grounded in the light in this way at all times is a beautiful and sacred place to be in.  Our Masculine Divinity, will certainly move those sacred inward moments of ourselves and project them out into the world and into the heavens and the universe.  How wonderful that you have become more aware of this dance between the two energies. 

In our workshops, the goal is to provide a foundational understanding of the two types of energies, and see how they compliment each other in every way.
