The Lightening flash, how does it translate for you?

The Lightening flash as a Symbol of Synchronisity The Aha!, of living in Spirit, also known as Inspiration.
When we are in alingment with our Self, we enable the Divine Impulses to channel down through the different levels of existence, un hampered we create an AHA. The flash of inspiration, spirit in action or Divine knowledge. These moments also work along synchronistic lines. When we are in our flow and our vibration is lifted we are able to navigate our lives by remaining mindfull of them.
Traditionaly a lightening flash is used to illustrate spirit passing through each spere in numerical order. One thru Ten, from Spirit/Kether to Malkuth/Reality as we know it. Through all four worlds it picks up shape and form emerging in the real world as a creation.
If you think about the term AHA, that Oprah has helped spread- ‘ that Aha! Moment “ It is also like a lightening flash, the Spirit in Action, the idea a bright flash and then the process of manifesting it is the decsent of the tree.
But lightening in reality works from the ground up. So the impulse to transcend our personal self must originate in the Physical Realm of Malkuth, Reality and reach up toward Spirit, which illuminates your path in the sky like the lightning ‘ fire.
So when we have an Aha, a great idea and it doesn’t manifest instead of wailing and raging at the Powers that be, we can look inward and discern where the flash was blocked, where it pettered out, or where it blasted a hole creating disease and disorder with in us.
Oracling with the Tree as a Whole is very inspiring and reveals exactly what you put into it, so the more wonder and love you approach it with the more you discover or allow life to reveal to you. A Constellation of Relationships, that one can read and learn how to overcome and to bring balance and heart fullness and creativity to their lives. Each sphere and its relationship with the one preceeding and following it a quest for self discovery and understanding. Your imagination is the limit. If you can think back to the last time you had a great idea, one that came straight from the heart, even if it was just to wash the dishes that night. How did life seem as you followed that impulse, from my experience when we act from Spirit or heart fullness those Aha’s change everything without us really doing anything. Like Quantum physics the reality just shifts with the energy around it. So when you follow your spirit, your energy does also, which affects others. We are all like little ponds, and our ripples of energy intereact with others, so ultimately working to raise our vibration, or reaching inward for the inner guidance of our higher self, the lightening flash helps us heal ourselves and others. What a gift. And one you can see in action. Inspiration or as I like to see it, Spirit In Action. An AHA, a lightening bolt from the creator.
By doing what our Heart translates from Spirit for us, we enable others to follow their own hearts also. Harmony ensues, flow returns, ease and enjoyent and acceptence are present when we remain present enough to hear our silent inner guidance. When we are not anchored in Malkuth enough- grounded -, when we have an Aha , it can short circuit us, so to speak, we go up up up then crash as we are not acting as a clear channel. Grounding and centering are essential for Pysche work, it helps integrate and keep us balanced. We feel whole, rather that a head on wheels or to the contrary a walking libido… Momentairly, this missed opportunity can throw us out of balance and make it seem like we have had a set back. However It never ever severs the connection with our higher self, not even our ego or the ego of others. We can only forget. Oracling is remembering. So we pull ourselves together and reach again. More aware of our grounding our anchor in the world, where all inner work must eventually play out. Oh, no ones going to force you to play or work with others, but it is a good idea. We don’t grow if we never try , or fail, or try again. Pursuing spiritual enlightenment or knowledge without applying it in our daily lives is an intellectual pursuit at best. Spirit’s destiny is to be made manifest in the Physical world. And the physical worlds destiny is to serve as a foundation for spiritual growth and inspiration and aspiration. Here we grow from our lowest unconscious self into our higher awakened spiritual self, every day. So anchor your studies in your life, apply harmony and balance, learn to see the opposites at play and allow your intuitive self to guide you in the language of the Tree to the most creative resolution.
Each and every sphere and path as holy as its neighbour. Just as every human being is. Although spirit and matter are exact opposits on the tree ,they are equally holy. None less or more integral than the other. All necessary to the relationship it forms. The relationship of self guiding self. We are each a Star unto our selves.

Oracle The following are famous responses:-
(1) When Croesus consulted the Delphic oracle respecting a projected war, he received for answer, "Croesus Halyn penetrans magnum, pervertet opum vim" (When Croesus passes over the river Halys, he will overthrow the strength of an empire). Croesus supposed the oracle meant he would overthrow the enemy's empire, but it was his own that he destroyed.
(2) Pyrrhus, being about to make war against Rome, was told by the oracle: "Aio te, AEacide, Romanos vincere posse" (I say, Pyrrhus, that you the Romans can conquer), which may mean either You, Pyrrhus, can overthrow the Romans, or Pyrrhus, the Romans can overthrow you.
(3) Another prince, consulting the oracle concerning a projected war, received for answer, "Ibis redibis nunquam per bella peribis" (You shall go shall return never you shall perish by the war), It will be seen that the whole gist of this response depends on the place of the omitted comma; it may be You shall return, you shall never perish in the war, or You shall return never, you shall perish in the war, which latter was the fact.
(4) Philip of Macedon sent to ask the oracle of Delphi if his Persian expedition would prove successful, and received for answer-
"The ready victim crowned for death
Before the altar stands."
Philip took it for granted that the "ready victim" was the King of Persia, but it was Philip himself.
(5) When the Greeks sent to Delphi to know if they would succeed against the Persians, they were told-
"Seed-time and harvest, weeping sires shall tell
How thousands fought at Salamis and fell."
But whether the Greeks or the Persians were to be "the weeping sires," deponent stateth not, nor whether the thousands "about to fall" were to be Greeks or Persians. (See Punctuation.)
(6) When Maxentius was about to encounter Constantine, he consulted the guardians of the Sibylline Books as to the fate of the battle, and the prophetess told him, "Illo die hostem Romanorum case periturum," but whether Maxentius or Constantine was "the enemy of the Roman people" the oracle left undecided.
(7) In the Bible we have a similar equivoke: When Ahab, King of Israel, was about to wage war on the king of Syria, and asked Micaiah if Ramoth-Gilead would fall into his hands, the prophet replied, "Go, for the Lord will deliver the city into the hands of the king" (1 Kings xxii. 15, 35). Ahab thought that he himself was the king referred to, but the city fell into the hands of the king of Syria.
There are scores of punning prophecies equally equivocal.
Oracle (Sir). A dogmatical person, one not to be gainsaid. The ancient oracles professed to be the responses of the gods, from which there could be no appeal.

What is Oracling

Summarizing and paraphrasing on the above definitions, Oracling is the Act of seeking Higher Wisdom (Sophia as the Romans called it). Had any of the biblical or historic figures consulted their own INNER Oracles or Higher wisdom, the Inner Oracle of the Divine Word, they may perhaps have had more rewarding outcomes or journeys.
Oracling is not in my opinion the same as Psychic Readings about the future. They are all in the same family, that of the Psyche, but in this instance they stand apart in their approach to spirit. Oracling is done in pursuit of Self. How can I help myself? Not what lies ahead, good bad or ugly, will I be rich, will I marry my soul mate, am I on the right path. These questions are empty. Why not ask, How can I shed some light on my role in this situation, for example in my Financial world? Romantic Life, Spiritual Pursuit? What WORK could I focus on to help bring about the necessary change in vibration to Attract to me all my most Authentic Desires? The Law of Attraction has been widely recognized in the Occult/Metaphysical/Pagan/New Age worlds for a long time now. But it is now that we see to the Heart of it. We must BE what we want. That is the great Alchemy. The inner evolution of your conciousness. To remember your divine Heritage, and that at the root level the Universe has your back and we are all one, in Spirit.
Just like there is different forms Fire can take ( candles, electricity, sensation, Lava….) it is all the same spirit, fire.
Oracling is the Art of Self Love. Discovering the Authentic You, the one that opens to Life and allows it to flow out of your heart and into the world.

Who can do it

I believe Oracling or Daily Dialogue with Spirit ( your Aim and Intent centered around receiving the wisdom of the Spirit), is a spiritual tool/process available to all human beings. Some are born in tune with their inner voice, such is their souls purpose. But most like any thing else in life, must learn the art of self reliance, self trust and ultimately self love. And who better to direct and guide you in your journey than your own Divine Spirit?

Where can you do it

Ultimately anywhere any time, but there is always a foundation to build so that our Inner Tree can travel with us.
Once you finish the course, it is my hope that you will work eventually to allow the inner dialogue to proceed without cards or stones, trusting in the relationship you have formed between you and your Higher Self.

Why do you do it

Here is the fun part. Oracling with the Tree of life is to develop an inner line of communication between you as a person and you as a spirit. The Tool/Cards are the Psychological reinforcement of your desire to cultivate an attitude of Self Reliance in your life.
This tool helps you realize that every thing you look outside your self for, what ever it may be and in what ever realm it exists in, is always inside you.
So if you have a question, if you seek illumination of an experience or a realtionship or situation, seek your own counsel first. In this day and age the mystics assert that we each serve as a guiding light for one another, to do this we need to believe in ourselves first, and by doing so give others permission to believe in themselves as well.
Looking to transcend your Ego, to shed some light on your Shadow, we each are born with the light to see and walk our paths. Oracling helps put us in touch with this gift from Spirit.

When do you do it

When ever you feel you want to. This isn’t a calling on strangers or disembodied sentient energies, this is Self talking with self, so any moment is a good moment to seek one’s Self.
In the beginning we will first work on daily sessions with each aspect of the Tree and Spheres and their Paths to and from. This will help to build the foundation for further exploration.

How does Oracling for Personal growth benefit us?

When we resonate rightly, self with Self we help everyone we meet. Even if no actual physical experience happens our light heals our fellow man. Just as we are healed by their light. When you enter into a relationship with your Higher Self, your Vibration and Energy are increased and refined. This is easily felt by other Humans. It helps to remain accountable for our role in the world. Inner and outer.
Oracling for Personal growth helps facilitate the stretching inward to meet our Divine Spirits halfway. When we meet Spirit halfway, we find ourselves better equipped to let it flow through us, we can work with our Ego to allow a spiritual marriage within us to occur.
The Union of the Lower Self ( Personality) with our Higher Self ( Super Concious Self) is the mystical process of Initiation, spoken of in many esoteric occult/ metaphysical systems. When we begin to work with our Inner Family of Archetypes, or when the Inner Parent/Inner Teen/Inner Child are Unified on the home front we begin to enter into a Co-Creator status with life. We are no longer ruled by the lower desires of the Ego/Teen. Rather we acknowledge the pattern and rise above it joyfully and inspired. We are able to move out of the Survival mode that we sometimes enter into the Victim mindset in life, the Poor me, the Dramas and into Awakened Doing. ( As per E.Tolle)

What is meditation

There are many ,many definitions of Meditation and for the purposes of this work, we will consider it in two parts, Active and Passive. One where we Work the mind, and the other is Stilling the Mind.
In the course we will use both.

Who can Meditate

Anyone with a mind can and should meditate.

Where do you meditate

Any were any time and any place really. But in the beginning a safe relaxing place is best. YOU TIME.

Why do you meditate

Mediating helps us in so many ways and on every level, but in this course we use meditation to help us learn to open up to our intuitive knowledge. We will learn to listen to our inner voices when we are able to silence the mind chatter. Through stillness or through guided visualisation they are both effective. But in the furtherance of Oracling for personal growth, meditation helps stimulate the Imaginative faculty, necessary in Working the Intuitive Muscles, and also helps to relax our vice grip on our lives, to be still and open up to what is. And to an awareness of our Inner Voices.

When do you meditate

In this course we will Intuitivly decide on a time to Meditate for Oracling. We will also work Meditation in to our Readings. So prior to a reading grounding and centering will be the focus of Meditation.
How does Meditation Help us Oracle more efficiently?

Kabblah, is traditionaly held to mean; To receive. In order to receive anything, one must be open to it. So when we meditate we are creating the time and space for a conversation with Our own personal Higher Self and aswell the Universal Spirit that manifests in the world around us.

lol, i guess I am not a purist then, or perhapes subscribe to the idea that a pond which is too clean has no fish...especially in the crazy world that we call reality..
I ended up making a set of Oracling cards included Da'at..and have been using them in personal and for others in readings. I am a newbie to giving readings for others, (just over a year now.) but have read for myself with Runes etc...for over a decade.
The QBL and all its wonderfull Mutt-ness, gives my subconcious language a lift and the inner dialogue between me and my SELF (lol) has definitly been enriched and less tainted by fear. Which is nice.
If any one is interested, I am working on a Workbook/workshop that deals with Oracling for the Self by the Self on the Tree. IF any here are really interested I could start a small thread here too...

Well, you use the QBL code, which indicates the stream of qabalah that you learned.

Same one I initially learned, still my fave.

But, that stream is the product of a great mingling and mixing and mutting of ideas that happened in the relatively modern period from the 1400's to the early 1900s.

So you've got all kinds of influences muddled up together, several flavors of kabbalah and judaeo-christian mysticism, rosicrucianism, tons of art of memory, hermeticism of a multitude of flavors, all kinds of doctrine of signatures philosophy, alchemy (closely related to doctrine of signatures as applied to qabalah), revivals of platonism and graeco-egyptianism, gnosticism, literally everything one might imagine.

A side effect of the catholic/christian repression - all these underground religions and philosophies were forced to mingle in an underground environment, pressure cooked together into what we now have as QBL.

Thats what I figure makes QBL so powerful. yet at the same time, what dooms QBL.

In time, the principles behind qbl will be used to invent a new something, and maybe that will get the chance to be used that deserves, but may never get, because of it's mutt heritage.

Which is really too bad, but thats human nature. Snooty buggers.

Spiritual truth gets filtered as we recieve it, it gets reflected and distorted, but the Higher Self can still get thru on it, in a way people can hear.
Some don't need to hear what the secret is saying..been there done that...some are still in victim mode and this might help kick start them if nothing else.

It seems kind of vague, Iona. I'm not sure what, if anything, it adds to the qabalah conversation.

I enjoy some of the language, since it reflects my own background, but I'm not sure what the writing is supposed to accomplish.

Personally, I think you could write a better revamped introduction.

SPIRITUAL TECHNOLOGY

Qabala, qabalah, kabbala, cabala. However you spell it -- and whether you subscribe to the traditional mystical Jewish methods or the Western Occult Tradition -- Qabalah is an elegant symphonic spiritual technology which can be practiced in a religious or philosophical context.

It is a means of activating and stabilizing your potential, your creativity and genius. It is also a heartful path, involving both the rational and intuitive mind through imaginal processes. It is difficult for the newbie to grasp, much less master, its scope. It is an atunement process involving dynamic flow states, resonance, intentionality, and luminosity. It requires Grace, when the cosmos reaches toward you in your efforts and draws you like a magnet.

Therefore, a spiritual teacher who has followed the path for many years can be invaluable. The downside of so-called spiritual groups is they can exert a groupthink or voluntary mindcontrol in the seekers. In the worst case, spiritual predators purposefully or unconsciously enthrall others to their spiritual, emotional, economic and physical detriment. A teacher's integrity should inspire trust.

Some say self-initiation is a viable alternative for the spiritual adventurer in the absence of a qualified teacher. But qabalah has a rich language that is all its own. In order to comprehend it, a thorough knowledge of the intractive terms is helpful. It is deeply rooted in its ancient alphanumeric alphabet. Each letter corresponds with specific experiences encoded in the glyph of the Tree of Life. This Voice of the Silence is the real teacher.

Decades ago, The Holistic Qabalah was originally conceived as a contemporization of the various stages of climbing the Tree of Life on the Path of Return up the Middle Pillar. As such, it is like a roadmap, but the actual territory is the fabric of your life.

It offers both introductory and deeper material, as well as keyword leads for further exploration on your own. It links modern psychological and scientific concepts to those presented in the more archaic or metaphysical language. This functions as a bridge to amplify their meaning and depth.

Qabalah describes the full repertoire of human experiences -- ways of being and becoming. It is not only a way of categorizing and describing altered states of consciousness, it is a means of achieving them at will.

It is a taxonomy of consciousness and a way of assessing spiritual growth, even though it is a nonlinear process. You may cover the same ground again and again, getting more from it each time, depending on where you find yourself in your life.

MYSTICAL THEOSOPHY

Though the entire outline for the Tree is given, only the Paths leading up through Tiphareth are included here, because if one gets that much, truly and experientially, it creates a resonance with your higher Self, which then directs your work from that point forth. Once that contact is initiated and stabilized, you have graduated from "qabalistic college" and are prepared to pursue your individuated path in earnest.

You can develop a deeply personal relationship with your Self, as psychologist Carl Jung termed it. The ego can build a relationship with the numinous or spiritual and place itself under its direction. Each stage in the journey has certain message, symbolism and characteristic experiences which are an opening to the deep subconscious Jung called the Collective Unconscious with its archetypes and typical imagery.

Historically, that has been the purpose of western magical groups, using qabala as a living spiritual teaching. They call this level of attainment Knowledge & Conversation with the Holy Guardian Angel (K&C), your genius or Daemon. It is the modern equivalent of self-realization. Yet, curiously those secrets were dormant in the sacred geometry of the Tree, traditionally said to have been revealed 4,000 years ago to Abraham by an Angel of God. You might say, he got K&C from his angel. The Voice of the Silence undergirds and informs us all if we just bother to listen to the living Word or Logos.

I know of him mostly from the videotape he released talking about that gematria style "interpretation" of the torah.

Which struck me as a farfetched curiousity, and I didn't feel he really proved his argument. Altho "secret wisdom" transmitted by the interpreation of ancient documents was more popular at the time, I failed to see it's usefulness.

Does he have a website now? What's his latest stuff about?

Was more on the same geometry page before he became a religious Jew.
He got his original vision around the same time I did DIAMOND BODY. Later, a mutual friend introduced us. He was working with Arthur Young. Then he got into his Hebrew Alphabet angle, then the battle with Dan Winter...

On par, it's deep, but I'm of a more magickal bent which took me into the center of the thing into ZPE.

Then Drunvalo took over the mkt with Merkabah.

Now, I don't know - maybe Naseem Harmein.
