Is there a standard for morals and ethics as a human race?confabulations said Oct 25, 3:36 AM: |

In my opinion, unfortunately there isn't. Such as, the majority of people in this world think that it is wrong to steal, kill, and lie. Then there are many that do it! Does this mean that they are breaking a standard, or does this mean that there is not a “standard” strong enough in that particular situation…? I believe that if everyone in this world was honest, full of integrity, and peaceful that everyone would have much better lives. I wonder about the people that don't believe that(or a similar version of that) - do they not want to believe it? Is it simply greed ? For power? Please, share your thoughts ! |

People live by their own standards…or lack thereof. Standards are a personal choice, either based on experience or lack of experience (meaning karma). |
