Heart Circles

leebo said May 8, 2008, 8:58 AM:

Just back from our annual pilgrimage to Tennessee for another amazing Beltane Gathering. Brought back enough faeire dust to sprinkle around- as needed!  While the excitement, raw sexuality, drumming, drag, spontaneous ritual and general wonder- full - ness are the most obvious parts of such large Gatherings, it is often the Heart Circles that are the most meaningful and powerful.

Heart Circles are unique to Faerie space. They are a way to check in and speak about whatever is in one's heart in a safe, non-judgemental way - with no crosstalk and no rights or wrongs.  You speak when you are handed the talisman. What's said in Circle stays there and the connections made in Circle are often deep and lasting.  Generally it gets “deeper” with each time around.

Over the years I have spent time in many 'circles” - 12 step, spiritual, workgroups and the like but the bonds formed here are among  the deepest. At the end everyone can look deeply into the eyes of those who held that sacred space with and for one another and feel the Love.

Leebo your post warms my heart.

I am hoping to go to Camp Destiny in Vermont for Governance weekend Fourth of July weekend.

I will leave Thursday after work and hopefully not be pitching a tent in the dark. It has been a long time since I have been to Camp Destiny (2 years) but I am really ready to give it another chance.

Be well,

Christopher “Willow”

Lots of good stuff happening there at the moment., I have not been up but many friends have . It is interesting to hear the “process” of how the creation of that space has evolved. BTW they will most likey be takin gover RFD publication from there which I think would be a good thing as well. Let me know how the weekend goes. blessed be
