Radical Clarity... Shi[f]t Happens

The backbone of this pod is that we cannot count on the thought system (ego-mind) that keeps us in fear to ever liberate us into a thought system based on love.

This new paradigm requires a whole new thought, a whole new way of being. By exposing and embracing our inner demons, we can move through the...(more)

Beef of the day........

Pelple who take 15 minutes to add milkk and sugar to their coffee at Starbucks and then take another 15 minutes to stir it when all I need is a frikkin' lid!

Ahhh…. feel better already.

People who don't know how to drive through a rotary/traffic circle/roundabout/whatever you care to call it…..

You know - the ones who come to a complete stop even if no one is on the darned thing…

Or the ones who sit in the outside lane and go all the way around (even tho you are meant to use the inside lane for anything other than a right turn.) so you can't get off at your exit.

I agree with the beef about people who take forever putting cream and sugar in their coffee.  And they know you're right behind them, just as busy, etc.  But they don't care. They're the only people on earth in their minds.

Wonder if they have any idea how lonely it would be to be the only person on earth? Maybe that would be a good thing to whisper in their ear next time someone decides to linger … forever.

Okay guys….I come from a small town….I also practice mindful awareness…I'm gonna beef up your beef about coffee stirring and say…..stirring, adding, blending my coffee to perfection is my appreciation for the Creator who has given me this caffeine-laced pleasure to start my day…..it's not 15 minutes Bruce…..in Kairos time….when you allow time to just be….it's probably in reality only 1 minute and 12 seconds.  Tell me you can't spare that a few times a day?  How about striking up a conversation with your coffee-stirring adversary….look at what he/she has chosen to wear…comment…..how are you doing today?….what would we do without our morning coffee routine….you know…..connect with someone….maybe you'll change the path of their day….maybe you'll make them feel uncomfortable enough that they'll stop stirring and let you get on with your day!  My beef's on the other side, I hate to tell you…..people who are impatient to get their lid while I stir.  You should be lessening your impact on the planet and using a travel mug anyway! Ha Ha

Ha ha ha…. fun-knee….. I remember one time I was in this exact position, I was on my way to facilitate a workshop on love, forgiveness etc etc….. I am standing there, toe-tapping, frustrated and then caught myself big time. I couldn't help but laugh at my own sate of “Being” and the lack thereof. Too funny.

I know what you mean Bruce. This post of Wahid's rings a bell for me - we keep forgetting who we are and why we are here & it is not about getting to the workshop on time. he he he he.

One day, I walked half-asleep through a
doorway I thought had been locked.
My surprise awakened me-
With no ‘this’ side and ‘that’ side,
I didn’t know who to be anymore!
Acceptance is like that, it seems.

Love often does not recognize itself-
until it trips… then the party begins!

Let me say this clearly, now:

Love often does not recognize itself!

hahahah…lol!

the answer is YES, this vegetarian has beefs, and real beefs, IN THE HOUSE!
How is that for irony? But not hypocrisy cus the beef is for my ailing old dog who has given up eating his usual food…and i would never impose herbivor or omnivorism upon a carnivore…and besides, he is so cute and innocent and can now have whatver he wants in his last days or weeks with us…(to visit the sweet old boy, Sparkey, please peek at my blog to get to his blog we are calling Latter Day Sparks–or just see him smiling over his sister in my icon)

but how that beef makes gas! As I sit here, i keep havign to madly wave this ODE Magazine where I learned about Zaadz and now where 100 of our icons are prouldy displayed on page 2…so that s my beef, the gas that cometh from beef. P-U Sparkey! Lets go for a walk!
