When I woke this morning, I realized in that moment before full awaking, that a certain ceremony was going on in which I was participating. It was for ancestors, or those whose DNA are within me. Since these can be from the dawn of time, it could be a very deep level; but I was aware that it was for some who were closer in generation.
What startled me at first, was that I began to give a Reiki hands-on treatment to an ancestor who, I have been told, faltered and died as a result of an accident. That energy is not appeased and has caused much trouble. At one level, I accepted it, at another I did not, but here I was, in a ceremony and then a healing session, in dreamtime, when our literal brain is asleep!!
Once I came to terms with it, a revelation came through and I understood the Reiki attunement even better, of how it bridges time and space. That is not just for this lifetime; but for lifetimes past as well. We can send and give Reiki to our ancestors, and thus it trickles down to us and those around us, and those to come.
