Does the mind 'correct' you if you're wrong in remote viewing?

We've been talking about a sort of 'self-corrective' mechanism over at TKR lately which I find very interesting. Pretty much this is when you're in the active process of remote viewing and you get two (or more) of the same 'core data' impressions but they come in different forms. There is a commonality of some quality, but a specific difference in something else, which is the mind's way of saying you got that part wrong. Fear and apathy

Fear and apathy in regards to human psychic perception is epidemic in our society. And I am sorry to say that this group is a clear example of that.

Most people react with fear when I mention being a natural psychic. Being an assertive, rational, protective father of three children doesn't seem to fit their preconceived notion of a long-hair hippy psychic. If I spoke in terms of "love and light" and "creating your own reality," they could write me off as a harmless nut. But since I am realistic and cynical, they have a harder time with that.

When people have taken the time to get to know me, they can become fearful when they realize I can "see right through" them. And for many of these people, it matters not that society could be radically improved by a greater understanding of psychic perception. All they are concerned about are their own petty little secrets, most of which aren't worth knowing anyway. They are having an affair, they are cheating on their taxes, or they do illegal drugs regularly. And for some reason, they think that these little secrets are actually important!

Many other people react with apathy, never realizing the relevance of human psychic perception in general. They don't understand that Remote Viewing, for example, can reveal future events that can then be reshaped, detect illness years in advance so their impact can be minimized, or that future technology can be conceptualized and manufactured today instead 50 years from now.

When most people do realize the scope of human psychic development and what having a fully psychic society would mean, they recoil in fear. No more secrets? No more hiding? No more deception? They wonder how they would survive, never realize they really aren't that much different from everyone else. So the game of deception goes on. And most talented natural psychics never let anyone know about their insights. In a society steeped in deception, hiding is the only viable option.

I had a precognitive dream when I was about 10 that blew my mind. I've been blown ever since!

I recal having many experiences as a child that qualify as psychic and intuitive. I always felt that these connections where coming from this exceptionally large part of my being that was not discussed openly with my peers or family, although it was the most real. In fact one of the most memorable childhood experiences I have had the pleasure of knowing was of being visited by a future self, or archangel representing thy future self...I have relived this moment in my mind hundreds of times to see if I can gather any more insight into that one golden liquid warm humid dusky summer afternoon.

As a mother of an extremely psychic child I am interested in teaching her Remote Veiwing and other techniques that support an aware and fully breathing mind....Have any tips, links or suggestions?

I am going to post a partial reply to this subject, since I actually have to go do an RV session here in a few minutes. I have many psychic experiences as a child, which I will go into later.

I have trained my eight year old daughter to Remote Viewing. And while her vocabulary is not as large as mine, she is capable of making sense out of the data and rendering the sketches accurately.

The part of training her that shocked me was her absolute confidence in psychic abilities (which we talk about daily), Remote Viewing and me. There was no fighting, no resistance, and no hostility. I told her how her unconscious mind processes the data, how to understand the syntax and bring it into conscious awareness. She said, "Okay" and that was it!

I have attempted to train some friends, and have actually managed to train a few successfully. With adults you almost have to trick them, tell them "humor me," that it's just for fun. Otherwise they resist, argue and fight with you about how it's just not possible to do this. And even after hitting three or four targets successfully, they still find a way to rationalize it away.

We live in a culture in which intuition is almost criminal.

Someday, we will teach Remote Viewing or something like it in Elementary School. People will be able to realize their Optimum Trajectories, Optimum Vocations, and Optimum Mates and maximize great possibilities. Until that day, all I can do is teach my children about the relevance of intuition.

Remote Viewing Styles

I love your explanation and introduction to the Pod. I feel the same way. I love psychic perception, but get exasperated by the lack of critical thinking and healthy analysis.

Which style/discipline of Remote Viewing do you practice? I don't look down on any style by the way. The few different ones I've investigated or studied seem to have unique strengths and weaknesses.

As a kid I often had experiences I would later learn were called psi. Like dreaming things that happened, that was pretty common, although I often didn't remember the dream until I was right in the midst of the event.

Or out of body experiences and lucid dreams, those aren't necessarily psychic, but they're often in that genre of exploration for people. I thought those were normal for everybody. It never occurred to me that they were unusual until I was an adult and saw books about them. I thought it was just part of life, like dreaming, or deja-vu.

My little girl and I have had a few offbeat experiences that I would call psi. I think children are less indoctrinated against allowing it. Their reality is a little flexible anyway, heh heh!

I'm posting this even before the group is much begun so in the future new members are welcome to introduce themselves by responding to it if they like.

Did you have any psychic sorts of experience as a child? What were they like? Do you think this influenced how you feel about the subject as an adult?

There is something hilarious about calling these groups "pods", you have to admit. Like we're the pod-people!

I've been deeply entrenched in the study, practice and pursuit of remote viewing (psychic functioning in a specific format) for a dozen years now (since 1995). I run a number of serious websites about it, discussion groups/boards, blogs, and hands-on tools for "doing it" and for providing free information for those who might like to pursue the art.

I've spent most of the last dozen years doing more work to re-educate people misinformed by the media or others who paid thousands to learn some hokey marketing hype someone chose to call remote viewing simply because it was a cool term, than almost anything else. But I understand that lots of folks find the topic interesting, yet legit information is not that easy to come by. So whenever I happen into a new environment, I set up some space where if people find me, and they choose to take their time to ask serious questions, I will find the time to provide serious answers. It is my repayment to the art and the universe for the time that others have provided me along the way.

I will attempt to come back and post on this group now and then, since I am starting with zero members but me, and I don't know anybody in zaadz (yet).

Richard Bach once wrote, "some of my best friends, I know I'll never meet." Or something like that. I agree. Probably somewhere in this community are some people of good mind, strong character, intuitive insight and unusual decency that I will someday come to care deeply about. For today, though, this is just the first post on a new pod.... "Hello!"
