GODDESS OF NIGHT

The most intimate thing in the world to be done by a man and a woman is eating.
I would not really agree with that aroun some 30 years ago. But now, that's my whole understanding.
Because, how about sex?
All those difficulties, except the tantra things, of course, but all those hufs and bufs and noises and shinesses and don't-know-these and don't-know-those.
And, who knows this man? Who knows that woman?
Two people, two strangers.
I just love it.              But one has to face reallity, we don't know each other.
But to eat together and have a nice conversation… that's cute. marvelous.


That's why up to now, my CD GODDESS OF NIGHT, I just had used it for a having dinner together, with candle lights. And it is my own CD!!! I felt I had something wrong, maybe, in my own self.
Not at all…!
Just the reality is, nothing more intimate than eating together. eating is sacred, and many cultures have really something quite special about this … eating together.

I have found the most intimate thing two people can do with one another is to gaze unguarded into each others eyes and let their pain, happiness, tenderness, hope, fear…. be fully witnessed.

Wonderful.

Perhaps that's is a “reason” why I use to gaze at  your eyes and face and picture , and this IS a meditation for me. Everything can be used as a Meditation in itself.

Osho has a wonderful meditation which is Looking Into Your Partner's Eyes, for instance.

That's Intimacy, really!

Another is the Nadabrahma, where two persons just sing together 1/2 an hour a mantra holding hands.

That's Intimacy.

It is good to see you!  I love how you broke that down.

I keep feeling like I have grown more in this past year than at any other time in my life.  Almost as thought I had been seed planting and watering, but no sprouts to note until …… WHAM.  And it has been lesson after lesson in honoring the ability to stand naked before source and before others.

I thought years ago that I saw people.  And perhaps to some extend I did, but until I gazed through an unguarded heart….. I missed so much.  It is my willingness to honor the vulnerability of simply being that has afforded me the awe inspiring gift of truly seeing another.

And intimacy is afforded.  I find sharing effortless.  I find receiving another being an effortless joy.

Do you know what is funny?  It never occurred to me that honesty could be excluded.  You are right…. you can't stand naked if you can't extend honesty.

I think people that have a greater difficulty with intimacy are also the one's who are working hard to hide from themselves or others.  And that - in and of itself - becomes dishonesty.
