Hope is the one thing I find I cannot imagine wishing to live without.  Sunrises, flowers, children's laughter.... they all hold hope for me.  This board speaks to hope.

Open Arms

I'm thinking that hope struggles for breath when my arms are closed tight.  And the act of opening my arms and stretching them out can sometimes leave me short of breath.
I'm opening my arms.  I keep thinking of the scene on the Titanic when he is at the front of the ship with arms open wide and the wind over the ocean sweeping over him.
That, too, is a valiant part of hope.

When you said open arms, the first thing I thought of was HUGS.

I find hope in hugs.

I've hugged you, it was a feeling I will never forget.

I remember the last time I hugged my baby brother, won't forget that either.

Hugs are hope that someone else can wrap you up in and you can take with you.

I find hope in a lot of things.  When I see things begin to transform for me or for someone else, I find hope held in that.
I tried to fit the idea of hugs on for hope and it isn't there for me (not that I oppose the hugging).  It just isn't where I feel hope.

I remember swinging when I was little.  That sensation of being both free and being able to stretch my arms out.  It was hope personified for me.  So that is the sensation that lets me know my arms are open and I am not shutting out possibilities or hope.
