I'm building a community that makes for a good way to market your books. I have a website from which I now sell my artwork, plus topics related to: spiritual, health, nature, & new age, etc....Author submissions being accepted.
This is no risk for authors as I am not charging a fee to list you on my site, just a percentage if your book sells. The more authors and books, the more the more of you network and promote,the moreeasily search engines will find you, and the more books will sell......................

Now, I worked for a while as a cost estimator at a college text book company and I know what a tiny pittance goes for author fees. Instead of 6 to 10%, what I propose here is that you get to keep is 70%. I personally have had a hard time finding a central location for books of this subject matter, which means we could have a niche! The benefit for me would also be increased traffic to my site and hopefully you authors let me read your works while we are at it. Of course this is something to which we both need to agree, so please take a look at the pdf listed above.

6 years ago when I moved into this house I began stating how I really desired to have a bath tube. While I have two bathrooms, they both have showers and I am a tub person.
I have laughed and laughed at the outcome.
Six months ago a guy offered to come put a tub in for me and even knew where he could get me a tub.
Well... I now have a tub in my backyard.. LOLOL

I saw the tub.. just didn't really focus on the tub being installed and me enjoying it. LOLOL

Being is the key.
We are so often caught up in the process of trying to force things and forget why we wanted to do it to start with.

I come back to center with my business many times a day.
While making a profit is important to me.. we all like to have money to exchange for other fun stuff.. I remember it's not my only reason for doing what I do.

All that I do is a pouring out of something inside of me.

BE Successful

BE - DO - HAVE

Most people are taught to define success by what you HAVE. You HAVE a great job, or a beautiful wife or a lot of money, etc. People who base success on the HAVE often find that they can lose their success just by losing the things by which they define their success.

What you HAVE can always be taken away, lost or stolen, so if you base your sense of success on the external HAVE then you are setting yourself up for a huge crash sooner or later. That's why people commit suicide after a stock market crash and why most lottery winners fall back into the same economic niche when the money runs out.

We've also been indoctrinated to believe that what we DO is who we are. How many people in this culture define themselves by their job? I'm a cop, I'm a teacher, I'm a writer, etc. Once again this is an external reference and not who we really are, and once again all the externals can simply go away, leaving you feeling bereft and out of place.

I think it's also amusing that we ask kids what they want to BE when they grow up and then reference it to what their choices are for the DO category. Then again, maybe it's not so amusing at all.

When we talk about BEing successful, or BEing a good person or BEing intelligent then we are not referencing any external aspect of ourselves, but rather our internal core. When you learn to BE a successful person then it means that you have expanded your context and actually grown into that successful person. It's not something that you get hired into or that you put on and take off like a jacket.

Learning to BE

I remember as a child, watching my parents trying to be involved in Amway and Raleigh and other MLM's. Now these were what I would consider to be good companies with great products, but the problem was that my parents were trying to go from being farmers to being businesspeople without any way to expand their context and cover the steps in between. Like many people who try to buy into MLM's and become instantly successful they failed and then blamed the system and said that MLM is a scam.

Managing a business is like learning to ride a bike. No one ever learned to ride a bike by taking a class, and they never learned to ride a bike without falling off a few times.

The Rules Are Different

One of the problems that we have is that people in Western Culture have been taught that 'you get what you pay for'.

This is just one of the paradigms that you'll find are different for business people. Business people make a POINT of not paying for things in the same way that the average person does, and some of these concepts (you get what you pay for) have been specifically fostered in our consumer society. It's completely subconscious.

I discovered when I first started teaching meditation classes that people took it more seriously when I charged them for it, simply because they subconsciously placed more value on the class if they spent their money on it.

Shifting the Paradigms

To a businessperson it would be unthinkable to PAY for a product and then to try to resell it. Businesspeople set up a NET 30 or (preferably) a NET 90 account (they don't have to pay for the products for 30 days, or 90 days) and then they sell the products first and then pay for them. This is just one of the ways that the business world is exactly opposite from the consumer world.

The ultimate goal is to BE the person who can DO the things that let you HAVE success.

Overall I think that my professional wants are pretty simple;

1. I want to help people develop new attitudes about money and abundance.
       I'm getting into alignment with this by;
          A. Setting up the free Affiliate Programs, tools and resources that people can use on their journey
          B. Expanding my networks and studying the concepts of LEVERAGE and Momentum.

2. I want to develop Multiple Streams of PASSIVE Income in order to remove the usual stresses over bills and money, thus freeing up more time for the important things like family, teaching and lying on the beach. :)

3. I want to raise $100,000 for charities this year (2008) using my business to set up continual streams of passive income for them.

4. I'd like a new volvo station wagon for my company car. :)

5. I'd like to bring at least 10 new affiliates into my affiliate program each week and then help them each start building their next level.

When I was writing my first book I was writing the section on affirmations and had a huge epiphany;
I had always gotten EXACTLY what I asked for!

The problem was that for the most part, what I asked for wasn't really what I wanted. In many cases just the opposite!

This was a huge revelation for me and I was thrilled to see the Law of Attraction buzz that grew up around the Secret and What the Bleep?.

So in this thread I'd like people to take just a couple of seconds and tell the rest of us exactly what you want.

Odds are pretty good that there will be someone else out there that has it for you. :)

their pain, their joys, and the difficult process of healing that leads to inner peace,

a prerequisite to outer peace.

The music of Frances Key and Cyrille Verdeaux powerfully enhances this dramatic and

inspiring story, as local singers and actors lend their talents to convey this vitally

An Age of Innovation

A most important point I'd like to bring attention to is that the age we are now entering is totally new, even if it does bear some resemblance of the past. Instead of optimizing what we already know, this is an age of innovation.

The age we are entering brings us to our higher self, a self that employs high tech tools the way stone age tools were used-user in command of the tools; the tools don't replace the user. The abundance high tech tools bring us is not for the sake of more abundance.

New age innovators have made a quantum leap forward. Rather than slaves to abundance, they achieve, they create. The age we are entering is brand new by virtue of the fact that for the first time in our human history, the average person has the time to relax---to think and plan, to get the most out of his or her life.
