Adyashanti is my favorite current spiritual teacher. He's American, humble, and plain-speaking. He's an expert on the process of awakening.

He'll be at Shoreline Conference Center for $15 on Friday evening, and for $75 9 - 5 on Saturday.

Get details from http://www.adyashanti.org, and click on Events, then Seattle.

He's based in San Francisco and rarely up here.

Blessings,
Rev. O.M. Bastet

I recommend it!!!

I won't be there only because I'll be at the Adyashanti Intensive that day. I'll post about that in case anyone is interested. Sorry didn't think to do that sooner.

Blessings, OM Bastet

In case you haven't heard yet...

via Worldchanging: Seattle
"Seattle's City Council approved the proposed disposable bag fee yesterday with a 6-1 vote. Starting in January 2009, shoppers will have the option of either bringing their own bags to the store, or paying 20 cents per disposable bag to tote their goods. According to an article in the Seattle Times, officials expect that the new fee will cut Seattle's annual 360-million-bag habit in half." [read more]

Are you affected by this?
I am registered for the June 30 evening talk. I am curious to hear this very famous lady, a profound thinker about very useful topics. This is NOT going to be as esoteric as it sounds, I believe. I think it is going to be fun, enlightening, and useful !!!!!!

Blessings, OM Bastet

      Greetings Neighbors !!!

My church is hosting a discussion group aligned with the webcast events Oprah and Eckhart Tolle are doing around his new book A New Earth. It will be second Monday of each month, evening. FREE.

Send me an email here on the site, for more information.

NOTE we are a completely independent small church. I believe nearly everyone would be comfortable. THIS GROUP IS A SACRED ACTIVITY OF THE CHURCH, BUT YOU WILL NOT BE ASKED TO JOIN OR BE EVANGELIZED IN ANY WAY. WE DON'T DO THAT STUFF. The group will discuss the book and webcasts.

Blessings,
Rev. O.M. Bastet
