A show on Saturday Oct. 27th that I am really excited about!

Perhaps some of you have heard of this event already but in case not . . .

I am one of the performers in an event series called East of the Underground, which happens at The Electric Tea Garden at Oseao. Yes it is a tea house!

On Saturday we will present the second East of the Underground event. Our special guests are the live bhangra group Signia from Vancouver BC. One of Vancouver's best bhangra groups Signia plays cutting edge fun bhangra music. They will be performing as the singers LV and San J. over a DJ with live percussion.

I am starting the evening off at 9pm with an electro-acoustic set on sarod voice and original beats. Signia will play at 10pm DJ Muad'deep will follow at 11pm with a set of bhangra, middle eastern trip hop, and DJ Baba James will follow with a set mixing afrobeat, highlife and bhangra and breakbeat. Whew!

It's an all ages show too!!! And only $7. Here's a quick summary of the show. I hope anyone who is interested in seeing a great bhangra and eclectic music show comes out to see it!
