Hello to all the beautiful Zaadzsters in the Emerald City!

Don't you just hate the friggin' snow and cold weather? I know. Me too.

But don't worry, the Seattle (Emerald City) pod is here to warm up our winter with a couple of hot announcements.

Announcement #1:

Let's all welcome Lorran! (Hi, Lorran!) She's the new admin for the Seattle pod. She's full of energy and likes meeting people. And best of all, she volunteered to make this pod rock by organizing and coordinating meetups and other activities. Sweet!

It's also her birthday a few days ago so let's give her a warm Happy Birthday greeting :)

Announcement #2:

Thanks to Lorran, we already have a schedule and venue for our first two meetups! Why two meetups? Well, it turns out that Di, a Zaadzster from Cali, will be in town on March 10. We'd like to show her our warm Seattle love :)

And on March 17, Marcio's friend, Kiko, will be playing at Mona's Bistro. So it would be cool if we can catch his gig too.

So you have two options, you can RSVP on either dates, or better yet, both!

Please RSVP by replying to this message.
Indicate your preferred date(s): March 10, March 17, or both.

Both meetups will be held at Mona's Bistro, 9:00pm. Here's the address:

I'm probably game for March 10th, but not the 17th.  I have Brandon that weekend.

It'll be cool to see various folks I haven't seen in ages and meet a few new ones.

I know there are a lot of Seattle folks who aren't aware of this pod.  We should all make it a point to pass along this thread to Zaadzsters we know who aren't members of the pod.

Hello Beautiful Seattle Peeps!

We'd like to thank everyone who attended the first ever Seattle Zaangha Meetup. The turn out was great. Fifteen people showed up!

It was a pleasure getting to know all of you! Now that was fun!

We'll be planning more meetups soon, with less loud music, more food, and focused conversations. So for those who didn't make it, stay tuned. We're just getting started ;)

If you have any suggestions for future meetups, please send me a message or post your thoughts on the Seattle Pod.

BIG thanks to Lorran for being the catalyst for this meeting, and for finding us a cool place to hang out.

Oh, btw, here are the photos: Photo Album: Seattle Zaangha. Feel free to post them on your blogs along with your side of the story :)

So until the next meetup. More details to follow.
