Gaia: What's the Real Secret Behind Attraction?

Hi - I'm taking a survey of coaches to see how they use online social
networking sites like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter to attract
paying clients. The results will be included in a new course on how to
get coaching clients this way.

I will share the results with anyone who takes the survey, in case
you're curious how others are using SNS to attract clients to their
coaching businesses. Just add your name and email address to the
bottom of the survey, if you want a follow-up email with the results
(leave blank if you don't).

So far, most coaches who've taken the survey are indicating that they
do rely on SNS to find clients, become known for what they do, as well
as to have fun.

I just posted a blog which I'd like to share on this Pod...

I have a dream to have a direct influence in helping someone to win a Nobel prize. Please let me know if you will share this dream with me. Spread the word through your network of friends and together I believe we can make this possible.

Please post your knowlege of past Nobel Prize winners. What are the personality characteristics these people share? What are the life circumstances, hurdles and accomplishments that these people have experienced? How can we all learn from these life histories? What changes have these people brought to the world which have earned this prize?

Honestly - it's not the prize that I'm looking for but this is the magnitude of the influence I desire to have on the lives of the people I interact with. The prize represents the journey and I hold this as my Holy Grail.

What are some of the qualites that you are looking for that the brown haired woman didn't have? Look at this event as an opportunity to refine your dreams and goals. Become more clear in what you want and refocus on this refined vision. Good for you in recognizing that this woman wasn't right for you!

For instance, I have been desiring to have something for months and I have focused on it's positive vibes for some time. I am a patient man however at times I do wonder that if my concentrating on this item alone will be enough or what kind of other action I need to take. I do not stress on not having this item as of course I have beenable to get along without it quite fine. It is just I wonder if there are further steps I need to take.

Also this one is coming from a woman situation I recently went through. I would always tell the universe that I had a woman with long brown hair, brown eyes, a beautiful smile and a playfull attitude but not to the extent that it would sacrifice maturity. Out of nowere she came to me aswell... I was seriously hooked into this one too because it seemed as though I attracted her, as though it was more than just a normal relationship. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I came to find however that she was not true to me, she was instead a player. Does this mean I made a falicy in my attraction? I'm not so certain I want to go telling the universe things to break my heart again so I'm kind of scared of trying again... What should I do instead?

I recently found myself missing my former home town, NYC, and I vowed that sometime this summer I would visit, though I wasn't sure how that would come about. A few days later I was invited to a retreat with several friends/colleagues in Connecticut, about an hour north of NYC. I thought I would link up a trip to CT with a trip to NYC, but the plan didn't seem to be working out.

I finally resigned myself to just visiting CT, but as the trip grew closer, I thought, "Why not take the train into NYC in the middle of the week, even if it means staying at a hotel?" No sooner did I decide to do that, then a friend offered to plug my new coaching school to his NYC chapter meeting of coaches and I realized that it was on the same day when I would be in town. I suggested that I come speak, myself and he said, "Sure!" That gave a nice purpose to my visit (I didn't really need one, but I enjoyed having it.)

Then I mentioned to a client from NY that I would be visiting NYC and CT. It turned out that he had been invited to visit a friend in the same town I was staying in in CT, so he arranged to have me picked up in NYC and driven to his house where I stayed and I rode back up to CT with him and his family!

Everything fell into place once I let go of how to make it happen.

A clear desire + A willingness to let the Universe set it up = Goal obtained!

I was drawn to the Secret in a bokstore in Ballard, North Seattle, WA. I live in Seattle, WA. I bought it without having known too much about it. My husband was weary at the time because the DVD was so costly. I knew we had to have it. Now, it plays nearly all the time in our home. We even have a CD of the Secret to play at night as we sleep. The whole house is filled with the Secret as me, my husband and 8 month old son sleep at night.

I began using it on little things like: turning a red light to green, making a way to pull out into traffic, bring books to myself that I really want, receiving a certain amount on my paycheck (even though the amount was supposed to be less because I was having some time deducted), etc...

I made myself a vision book instead of a vision board. I put quotes that inspire, pictures of what I want, write all the things I am grateful for, write all my declarations to the Universe, etc...

I am amazed at how it works. It doesn't always work because sometimes I allow the doubts to superceed my belief in this ability. I have the standard tennis match between my old self and new self all the time. But when I concentrate, visualise, and let it go; I find that what I asked for is given to me.

It is that simple. Read Mark 11:24. Read writings of the Buddah. They knew this. They told people about this. If it was real before our technological advancements, than science is not proving something is true; it is reaffirming a truth that has been known since time ad memorium.

"The Law of Attraction" is true-as far as it goes. The problem is that The Secret takes this one relatively small piece of the puzzle and makes it the entire puzzle.
