HummingBird oh Meenakshi, I missed your post until now! I'm afraid I dont always remember to look at the grapevine for some reason - maybe because it doesnt send notifications. I'm glad you pointed out the triple one membership moment! Mmm maybe The Dark Side was new at that time - can't remember well. The pod is always growing! Love (5 months ago)

1. Dream exploration

People in some ancient societies were unable to distinguish between the dream world and waking world or they simply choose not to make such a distinction. They saw that the dream world was not only an extension of reality, but that it was a more powerful world.

There are those who practice dream yoga where the dreamer remains conscious within the dream state with the aim of awakening from maya (illusion). It is said that the enlightened do not dream as they no longer have the need.

In the world of dream the rules of ‘reality’ do not apply. By unlocking the meaning and interpreting our dreams we can gain a deeper understanding of our life. Dreams provide us with insight into ourselves and a means for self-exploration.

There are many types of dreams.
In some ways our dreams can be seen as our teacher. So often there are lessons embedded in our dreams. All dreams are unique. We are all individuals with our own background, emotions and experiences. Every dream is related to our particular ‘reality’. Therefore when interpreting our dreams, it is important for us to draw from our own personal life and experiences.

The more attention we give our dreams, the more they ‘speak to us’ providing us with deeper insight. Dreams speak in the language of images and symbols.

Keeping a dream journal is a useful way to record and study dreams. Keep your journal next to your bed, making entries on waking will better enable you to remember details. Write down as much detail as you can remember. Record how you felt during the dream. Contemplate the dream in order to gain an understanding of it’s message to you.

Once you journal your dreams regularly you may find you remember your dreams more clearly. You can also recognize similarities or repetitive dreams.

What do my dreams mean to me?

I have an impatient relationship to dreams.[as to sleep!]..Off and on I’ve journaled, but after a point, given it up. But if I may, I want to describe this event as I thought about the Labyrinth group when it happened.

My dreams have become increasingly lucid, however. Two nights ago, I had a dream that I remembered well, but was focusing on the humans rather than the dog who was playing Fetch with me.

The next morning I called a friend as it was her birthday and she’d suggested lunch one day to exchange news about our journeys. Though I avoid many gatherings, I wanted to meet her on her birthday. She agreed at my offering of “my food your place.” Mentioned she’s tired because she’s got a dog guest who keeps wanting to play Fetch!

I jumped! Immediately recalled my dream; as the side-story came centerstage. Sure enough, when I visited her, this lovely border collie, who’d visited me astrally in dreamtime, kept giving me her ball so I could throw it to her. I can palpably remember the feeling of my arm throwing the ball in my dream. I could describe the color of the balls, and even that one was broken. The house though, was reversed left-right. And I realized that I dream in sepia but the green tennis balls had glowed!

Ahhh I’m seeing now; perhaps I was seeing the green again from Comet Lulin that has obsessed me as he [who’s morphing into a “she” for me] is balancing my energies to another level… So this is what dreams mean to me.

Astral connections that can turn delightful!

As I added this to my blog, this leaped up:

And shall I tell you about the glistening in this story? The dog is
called Lyle. She is a dog-ess with the name of a boy. And she’s come
from New Zealand. perhaps something to explore there. On to the labyrinth!
Any hints?
