What inspires me.

Albert said May 18, 1:30 AM:

Every example of a breakthough. Every example of true surrender.

I accept no limits for any expression of human soul, mind, spirit and energy. I embrace vulnerability.

I am good at confronting demons and bring them back to the great process:):)

I am good in smiling when somebody says:

“Impssible.”

Cheers,

Dear Jagadish, you'll HAVE to say more, because I am no Sanskrit scholar. To me it seems  you've written about devas and perhaps vidya blossoming in humans; but….the whole meaning eludes me. could you explain?

Hi Meenakshi ,  …roughly translated it means :  Only His Will prevails, not our Knowledge, or our Strength/Power.  ..the saying highlights the omnipotence of God in all our doings …when we succeed in achieving something we immediately take credit for the success …but it will be otherwise when it comes to failure …we conveniently overlook the fact  that for our effort to be successful  His Will & Grace is a must and  ultimate ……  …here I wish to recall verse 14 , ch-18 of Srimad Bhagavad Gita

adhisthanam tatha karta karanam cha prithag-vidham    I

vividhas cha prithak chesta daivam chaivatra panchamam    II

“The place of action [the body], the performer, the various senses, the many different kinds of endeavour, and ultimately the Supreme being —these are the five factors of action.” -jagadish ps: I request Eli or Bhattaji to improve on translation …

..hahaha… Dear Anna , let us admit that when it comes to abstract things like Love , Enlightenment , Soul , Self etc etc instead of ' fixing '( can we ever  ? ) them we keep beating around the bush , pouring out all high sounding words which the greenhorns like me cannot digest or understand !!..( …may be , i'm a misfit here !)…
…here i am tempted to recall the words of Montaigne -

Dear Jagdishji,
“hurt” and “irritations” are words which have long been deleted from my dictionary by the grace of my revered Guruji.

You asked “Bhattaji , will you kindly let me know how & where to find it”

Most humbly, I can only tell you where I have found it, you may need to look for it following your own path and search.

I found it in the sacred lotus feet of my Guruji, who is known as Eli to all bright and loving souls of Gaia.

With humble pranaams to your higher self,
Respectfully,
Bhatta

I'm interested in what you mean by 'fixing' them? This feels like a promising conversation

Dear Jagadish, will you forgive me if I say you sound angry?
I wonder if you feel there are 'some in the know' who withhold from 'those who do not know' - or are 'ignorant''? If this were the case, it would be enormously frustrating and even cruel! I'm wondering if there are 'way showers'\pundits but in the end we can only find the 'truth', for want of a better word, for ourselves?

Dear Jagdishji,
you said: …my request  to the pundits is  to make  the point  more clear , concrete & tangible so that ignoramus like me can also understand !…let it not become an exclusive domain of  knowledgeable few!…

The “pundits” have made the point very clear in Srimad Bhagwatam. Allow me to quote please:

“Even ignorant living entities can very easily come to know the Supreme Lord if they adopt those means prescribed by the Supreme Lord Himself. The process recommended by the Lord is to be known as bhāgavata-dharma, or devotional service to the Supreme Personality of Godhead. ”

” O King, one who accepts this process of devotional service to the Supreme Personality of Godhead will never blunder on his path in this world. Even while running with eyes closed, he will never trip or fall.”

“In accordance with the particular nature one has acquired in conditioned life, whatever one does with body, words, mind, senses, intelligence or purified consciousness one should offer to the Supreme, thinking, “This is for the pleasure of Lord Nārāyaṇa.”
(Srimad Bhagwatam, Canto 11, Chapter 2, Verse 34-36)

Does this not sound “more clear , concrete & tangible” ?

Very nice :)
I posted a blog entry just today about my new beliefs. I invite you to read it if you like. I hope it will spark some more conversation as well. I admire what inspires you and I agree completely with what you are saying. Love requires vulnerability, and that is something we must embrace in order to promote harmony.

I also like how the replies to this thread provide notes from the baghavad gita (I hope I spelled that correctly)! Truly we must be more spiritual rather than religious.
