I resolve to try to find focus in my spiritual learning. I also want to continue to be more forgiving and understanding of those who do hurtful things in the world. I find this brings so much more compassion to the world and to our individual daily lives. It's not easy but it is doable.

Namaste
Kala

I resolve to do my best to come from love with everyone equally, as part of One, to try and see from their perspective, so not just those who are birds of a feather, but those who challenge or are different, to try and value and show appreciation to those who might appear different, less easy to understand, perhaps are more in need of friendship love and understanding. To love the hornet and wasp, as well as the honey bee.

      Good idea, Anna.

1) Spiritually - create more space for meditation and retreat, get back into daily meditative practice, weekly time apart to reflect and regroup, monthly half or full day, weekend retreat at least once a year.

2) Relationally - deepen my relationships - with the beloved, children, friends, family

3) Physically - develop a weekly routine of exercise

I think I'll start off by re-visiting my resolutions which I made for this year. In fact the idea of group was inspired by thinking of new years resolutions - and grew by contemplating why we make resolutions and the role they play in our lives.

I'll be back!

The Watcher. The Most Important Archetype, has been Overlooked.

The only Way You can Become Enlightened, is to Develop the Watcher, the Dispassionate Watcher, Who Oversees Your Emotions and Thinking, as an Outsider, Helping You to See a Different Version, a Different View, and Criticism of Yourself.

Without the Watcher, none of This Could Happen, because the Watcher does not Care what We Think, what We Feel.

He is Only Interested in Our Higher Self.
We cannot Realize Our Higher Self, without His Insight,
that Calls Us to Repair Ourselves, and Reject Inappropriate, Self-Destructive Behavior, Feelings, and Thoughts, and Seek Out New, More Beneficial Behavior, Feelings, and Thoughts.

We Owe Much to The Watcher, the Third Eye, of God.

Updating today - re my parents... I sat with my mother this morning, watching my father do his morning exercises in the sunlight falling on the beautiful mother earth. It is a blessing to be able to share this here. And once again, to find the questions - will they be happy if they stay here indefinitely never seeing their beloved homeland? Once they go back, as they would like to do, their lives are easier in some ways and more difficult in others. The greatest blessing is that they have each other.

And so, the journey continues....

      Spiritual Warrior

Life offers us the opportunity to become a Spiritual Warrior.

A warrior is one who bravely goes into those dark areas within
themselves to ferret out the Truth of their being.
It takes great courage, stamina and endurance to
become a Spiritual Warrior.

The path is narrow, the terrain rough and rocky.
You will walk alone: through the dark caves,
up those steep climbs and through the dense thick forest.
You will meet your dark side. The faces of fear, deceit, and
sadness all await your arrival.

No one can take this journey but you.
There comes a time, in each of our lives,
when we are given the choice to follow this path.

Should we decide to embark on this journey,
we can never turn back…. Our lives are changed forever

On this journey, there are many different places we can
choose to slip into and hide. But the path goes on.

The Spiritual Warrior stays the course, wounded at times,
exhausted and out of energy. Many times, the Warrior will
struggle back to their feet to take only a few steps before falling again.

Rested, they forge on, continuing the treacherous path.
The journey continues. The Spiritual Warrior stays the course.
Weakened, but never broken.

One day, the battle, loneliness and desperate fights are over.
The sun breaks through the clouds; the birds begin to sing, their sweet melodies.

There is a change in the energy.
A deep change within the self.
The warrior has fought the courageous fight.
The battle of the dark night of the soul is won.

New energy now fills the Warrior.
A new path is now laid before them.
A gentler path filled with the inner-knowing,
of one who has personal empowerment.

With their personal battle won, they are filled with joy.
A new awareness that they are one with the Spirit beams
as they go forth to show others the way.

They are not permitted to walk the path for others.
They can only love, guide and be a living example
of the Truth of their being
