Hello there – I posted a reply to this earlier, but it seems to have dropped off the board somehow.

Well, I’ve been taking the online Meyers-Briggs tests, and I seem to be all over the map – I must be borderline in almost all the categories.

Trends: Moderately expressed “I,” borderline in the other three. I tend to think of myself as INF/TJ, but the results today don’t seem to support the idea. In four tests, I’ve come out with ENFP, ISFP, INFJ and ISFP – hmmm… wonder what that means?

Thanks to Vicki, I know that astrologically I am Pisces sun, Gemini moon, with Libra ascendant. Mars in Leo, Jupiter in Pisces, Venus in Capricorn, Mercury and Saturn in Aquarius, and Neptune in Virgo. According to my chart, Neptune is in trine with sun, and in square with Mercury and Saturn. Does that mean that Neptune is a significant influence on my chart? I am such an astrological newbie… :-) Also, if I’m interpreting the data correctly, my Gemini moon is in square with Uranus in Virgo.

Dying to know what all this means…

In general, that means you're fairly well balanced elementally (astrology) and with functions (Myers-Briggs).

Neptune, which by the way is in Scorpio, not Virgo (the M with the pointer, not the M with the inward hook)–otherwise you would be about 20 years older than you are, is, with only three aspects, your most connected planet in your chart. Therefore, it will be important. Also, it is in your first house of identity. Any planet in the first house is always very important. Neptune is a mist that hides reality. Things aren't what they seem. It's also idealism. And in Scorpio, which also relates to something hidden or underneath the initial appearance. Mystery Man!

Plus, any planet on the angles (the lines that make a cross between the 1st and 7th houses and the 4th and 10th houses) is also an important player in your life. For you, Mars is conjunct (on) your Midheaven in the 10th house. Mars is action directed outward/how you express yourself. In Leo, this would be in a very extroverted, proud, creative, and/or dominant fashion and perhaps most visably in your career (10th house).

I followed all the steps and came out with the following numbers…

Destiny number: 5
Name number: 1
Personality number: 1
Soul urge number: 9

I’m going to try to do a bit of research now and see what kind of mess I am according to the numbers. I look forward to Vicki’s thoughts…

These do seem to fit me – lots of emphasis on creative expression, emotion, etc., with some tendencies to watch, like dissipation and superfluity.

Kinda different, huh? Guess I really am a hard-charging, egocentric, achievement-oriented, competitive Mars/Aries guy after all. Hmmm…

I think I like the softer, more creative vision expressed in my original link better. Well, the great thing about spiritual exploration is that you can find the interpretations you like, I guess. I’ll think about Vicki’s chart a bit – there may be more of me there than I’d like to think.

Thanks for sharing. Some of the correspondences I came up with from looking at your chart in correlation with your Myers-Briggs type and Asperger's:

Stellium (grouping of planets) in the 8th house (soul, depth) in Libra (mind, fairness/justice/balance): Focus on understanding deeply, interest in metaphysics.

Mars in Virgo in the 8th: Energy directed to details

Sun in Scorpio in 9th: Intensity, quest for depth of learning and wisdom

Mercury in Sag: Big-picture thinking, right/just thought

From what I read about Asperger's, there's an intense, obsessive level of focus on interests. All the Scorpionic, 8th house energy. Plus Introversion (“I”) allows for more focus on subjects rather than directing your energy outward and scattering it.

On the other hand, there's the NTP, Merc in Sag energy for taking in lots of info and making sense of it in a general way; abstract thinking; seeing patterns without necessarily finalizing conclusions.

Just a few bits of info that popped out for me. Does this make sense for you? How do you see your chart corresponding to your life?

Do you know your Enneagram type? 5 would be my guess. That would correlate easily with your INTP.

In my chart, the tightness of the orb on the t square between venus/chiron/moon. Aspies need somebody in their corner, so to speak, to help with the interface with society. Both my mom and my wife really abused this position, not caring about me at all, and using me for their own reasons. Check the placement of this, with chiron exactly on winter solstice and the moon/eros and venus at the fall and spring equinoxes respectively.

Amor at 0 degree cap, and Athena at 0 aquarius feed into this energy pattern. A feeling of brotherly love and a love of justice have been important to me in the extreme emotional isolation of described by the T square.

Psyche is exactly on my south node. I know well what love is, and that i've missed it in an interpersonal sense this incarnation. I've been forced to find love, and any acceptance at all really, from the natural world, and not the world of humans.

Urania exactly on my Sun, has me fascinated with astrology, as she is muse of astrology.

I can't read or write music, because of asperger's i think, i find this very very difficult. However, i have a strange talent for putting sounds together. I can't diagram a sentence either, can't think about words or notes that way, but use sound and words in an unusual way. Playing music is, i think, my strongest talent, but i don't like performing even a little, and am not that interested in recording either. I use music to comfort mycellf and to connect to spirit. I'm very interested in bringing the tools for this to others, not in showing them how great a musician i am. I think our over commercialization, over egoization of music has taken much of the magic out of it for the average person, and this i'd like to help correct this. Polyhymnia, the muse of sacred music, is exactly on jupiter, and apollo under influence of spica, i see as indicators of this.

So to me, its the dynamics of the aspects that tell the story. I really don't even pay much attention to the signs, I don't consider mycellf much of an astrologer either. I think of it as looking at an elephant through a straw. Astrology is so big, and the part i've studied so small. Anyway, its been of a great value to me in figureing out my own story, and even more, in helping me understand my kids. It really helped me be a better parent.
