How do you deal with a heart break?

I know this is off topic but I was wondering how you guys deal with a heart break? I'm going through one now and as you know it totally sucks because I really love this girl and have this attachment to her. It's comforting to know that these feelings will pass and I can look back at this experience with fond memories.

What worked for me when my heart was broken is time and effort. Eventually I started dating other people keeping busy and next thing you know my broken heart was mended. I moved on to something ele's important in my life and just got over him.
