 Nelly Furtado, Why?  because she is good singer and I can feel her lyrics Joy you the one who told me about her so I think you should list her as one on your favorite singer O.k.

Kelly Clarkson, Strong vocals, good figure and honest songs.

I'd say Delta Goodrem too, Sweet, lovely and unbelievably great songs.

A favorite singer is something that this spirit can not define, for it depneds upon the mood, the setting, the activity, there are so many wonderful voices. How about a singer that brings this spirirt to centeredness, that can reach in and remind thhis spirit of both the joy and sorrow that are always present….Enya. This spirirt has shed both tears of happiness, and tears of sorrow that her lyrics and voice so masterfully evoke.

favourite singers? pavarotti, erm no. I like old old music though *yawn* led zeppelin for one, golden oldies you know ;) I tend to listen to alot of jazz helps alot with 'connecting the dots” kind of conceptual stuff. But for sensuality and spiritual uplift I listen to alot of folk singers like mary black and the corrs….joni mitchell, love alanis morissette, I think I m a chick who hasnt come out of the closet yet!

I love prince and marvin gaye, stevie wonder, meredith monk who has a voice that can wrench your sould out of your gut, it s so good it s scary (and the other way around….) soul music, karnatic vocals….it has to move me deeply and immediately though :)

Favorite singer…hmmm

IWow it really depends on the mood I'm in.  If I'm feeling kinda blue and out of sorts I like  strong voices, like Patti LaBelle, Mahalia Jackson, Shakira and Mary J Blige.  Then there are the sexy voices…Usher, Marc Anthony, Enrique I..,  Maxwell and Leonarde Cohen. If I'm in a funky mood anyone tha makes me move…and that list could be endless!!!!

My favourite singer is actually no longer with us. My choice is Jeff Buckley.  He had such a beautiful voice and the lyrics in his songs just move me. I listen to his 'Grace' album as much as I can.
