What worked for me when my heart was broken is time and effort. Eventually I started dating other people keeping busy and next thing you know my broken heart was mended. I moved on to something ele's important in my life and just got over him.

I know this is off topic but I was wondering how you guys deal with a heart break? I'm going through one now and as you know it totally sucks because I really love this girl and have this attachment to her. It's comforting to know that these feelings will pass and I can look back at this experience with fond memories.

The usual physicality issues might get a slight reaction, likley as not. If I really connect on an emotional / mental / spiritual level, then that is when reactions become intense, mind and spirit altering, regardless of physical appearance or gender. In the heat of the moment, when connected at this level, the physical things that are happening even take a back seat to that feeling of being one, of melding together at levels beyond description.

Without this, its just a show on the Nat'l Geo or Animal Plnt channel.

My favourite singer is actually no longer with us. My choice is Jeff Buckley. He had such a beautiful voice and the lyrics in his songs just move me. I listen to his 'Grace' album as much as I can.

For me, love comes in different forms.

I think it can be the type of love you have for family and friends - caring and kind. It can also be obsessive, and all-consuming, like you feel it is taking over your whole being.
