Sorry I'm a little late seeing your post. I think it's a great ideal to have a get together and would love to participate. You could actually even start a pod just for that purpose, maybe?
Another thought is to ask the pod owner or moderator to send out a broadcast message to the members of this pod that a get together is planned at [when] and [where], and to contact [who] at [@email] if you're interested.
I'll certainly pass on the info to any of my friends that live here in the bay area that may not be a member of this pod.

Yeah, I was hoping to see a couple people interested. Probably makes sense to wait until we can get a group of 5 to 10 people to get the energy of a group started.

I'm up for meeting in SF. I propose 2/2 for breakfast at Cafe Graitude on 9th Avenue between Irving and Judah in the Inner Sunset neighborhood (Take the N Line to Irving and 9th Ave or MUNI #6, #43, #44 to 9th Ave and Judah).

I've recently moved to the bay area, and I was dropping a line to see if this pod was still active and if people were still interested in meeting. Would people be up for meeting February some time?

I live in San Francisco, in the Inner Sunset (around the corner from Cafe Gratitude) and i am interested in meeting, if it is either in the morning or in the evening.

I am busy 1pm to 7pm.

The East Bay is not San Francisco. You have to give me a very good reason to pay a toll and drive across a bridge into San Francisco. I don't normally go to events in the city.

Many people who consider S.F. to be in some ways HOME - have moved to Berkeley and Oakland .. .starting maybe 20yrs ago or so.

I live in Berkeley, near Ashby & San Pablo Ave.
From my place, I'm closer to the S.F. financial district than many parts of S.F. are to it.

So - I and likely many others, who consider ourselves S.F. BAY AREA dwellers (as opposed to SF & Peninsula or East Bay ...
will have to be monitoring two separated areas.

WHY NOT put it back the way it was, and IF or WHEN there is a demonstrated need to split it up, HOW ABOUT a DISCUSSION about how to best do that ?!

The current divisions aren't all that sensible to me, personally.. here in West Berkeley, I'm closer to Sausalito than to Walnut Creek.. and much more likely to hang in S.F. than almost anywhere.
