What are we supposed to do? And for those people I have no answer. Shifters are required to think for themselves, to see what they can do for the world around them, not what it can do for them. Sometimes this means that we must do things termed wrong by most people, but for us, right and wrong are non-existent. Everything that we do, is done for a purpose, whether we know it or not. And all of that is for the&nbsp; balance.<br /><br />Elementals are here to watch over us. Other people have guardian angels. We have the elementals. They guide us and teach us, protect us and watch over us. When we do something, it is to protect the balance, or the elementals. <br /><br />Without the balance of chaos and law, right and wrong, the world would be a dull place. Many times when someone is a shifter, yet they do not realize it, they are an artist, a musician, someone who strives to describe life through the arts. <br /><br />And other times they will be soldiers and guardians, those who strive to protect those things they believe they need to protect and live to fight those who would break the balance and use the elementals for their own purposes.<br /><br />Balance is our guide<br />Life is our pride<br />Nature is our friend<br />Our sword is of fire, <br />Our shield of water,<br />Earth shelters us in her bosom,<br />Air teaches us from our own hearts.<br />We are those beings who shift<br />never staying constant, tied to the <br />Great Mother, and never stopping<br />in our singular mission.<br /><br /> </p>
