Let me see … one thing I learned is … how to explain this? Let's see … We can inter into a relationship with a wonderful and solid appearing presented self/individual that can be usurped by another self within them that is very much the antithesis of what was originally presented. laughing And all of this is subject to conditions … that in some cases, conditions determine which self or selves shall arises in certain individuals … not in the sense of normally manifested subpersonalities that are aware of one another but in the sense that they are disassociated to varying degrees … and rather disturbing in their disassociated status. Of course, I was academically aware of this but experiencing it in a relationship is another matter altogether. And I learned that I can intuit such things and be aware of them from the beginning but deny what I intuited. So, I am at this time rather vigilant but more trusting of my intuitive responses - less likely now to deny what I intuit and viscerally sense. |

interesting it is an absurd world is it not
people are crazy are they not but one thing is often forgotten that must be remembered
how could i really be fundamentally different from others
as gurdjieff has said
have you ever met an animal you could not trust even if an animal is aggressive
you know what the case is right away animals arent cunning
there may be exceptions but in general its true enuff is it not funny world where animals are honest
to make some sense
who is up to the task love |

Peace, you inspired me to take a couple of chances at my day job. As a result, I figured out how to do some different things with a computer program that I have been using every day for over a year. Prior to this, I used the program tamely. Today I allowed myself to test and try new things with it. I feel pleased about the outcome, and can see how this new-found confidence will help me in my day job. Thanks for the idea! |

This week I learned that the wood in pianos sing when played and the wood in guitars hum along with the strings as well. I knew on some level this was true, but experiencing it was a big surprise. This probably stems from this flower I saw about a month ago that wanted to hug me. |

I find that I learn things many times before I truly understand them and I also find that there are many different levels of understanding, of which one I am on I am not sure haha…. It's like I learn things over and over again and I suppose that would be like me scraping a match over and over again and it almost ignites but not quite. And then once I have learned something enough the match ignites and I feel a change within me and without me. |

During any cognitive stage of development, we assimilate information until it is accommodated (Jean Piaget). Although there is some continuity between stages, radical changes in consciousness occur when a lower cognitive stage is left for a higher one. In this sense, apprehension of reality is qualitative and stage-bound but increasingly inclusive and abstract as one ascends. |

How did gain such a deep understanding of psychology? I mean most people who major in psychology don't seem to understand it as well as you do. And the only reason I understand it as well as I do is because of my experiences in therapy. How did you get to where you are? haha. |
