At the heart of it all … what we call culture … society … the essence of our social structures and systems may be the primal force of communication … our ability to interact and share our experiences. How well we communicate and/or our failure to communicate well often determines the successes or failures we have individually and in relation to others. Our communication places us in relation to the world we inhabit … and more importantly, to the world we co-create. The model I’m putting forth for discussion here has been built upon an essenital premise that all communication begins with social communication … on the primacy of inter-subjective experience you could say. We are born in relation to others … we live out all of our days in relation to others … and what most defines the quality of this experience will be our ability to effectively communicate with others … as well as with ourselves … let the journey begin … |
