Thanks :- “You are sensitive to this music, and I had hoped to reach the hearts of visionaries like yourself with it. You do know it tells your life story, your inner life story? It is the Hero's Journey. it is about you =)” |

Hey Jeff, good to see you:) Twitter is a sort of micro-blogging, a virtual sticky note or status update. (Note to self: I swear, at the rate we are shrinking our written words; we might as well return to symbols and pictography. Yes!!!) I mean, Twitter only allows 140 characters per tweet, a mere few nibbles or bytes in computer speak…barely satisfactory to convey my whole universe of thoughts. So sigh, I too have been shortening my words. “The” is now “Da” and “And” is now a permanent ampersand in my twitter vocab. Trust me, the shortening helps because if you exceed 140 characters, Twitter will not post. However, the good news is, you can post up to 1000 tweets per day. Twitter is mobile too. And you can tweet from the web, your site or almost any social networking sites……….not sure if we can do this on Gaia, yet. Unfortunately, those you follow may not follow you….but before you get discouraged, read on… So truly, we can call this a fan/advertising site…where you can tweet out a bunch of links…worded in such a way, that curious dweebs like me are always unable to resist. I mean, wouldn’t you too if you see a tweet that says:- “Immortality discovered by Amy @ www.gaia.com? And Twitter is easy and fun to use, another of its attraction I am sure. The minute you enter Twitter, it will ask you this question. “What are you doing?” And that alone gives you the urge to blabber everything you don’t know. (No wonder Deepak Chopra has been tweeting so many times per day. As for Canada’s Robin Sharma, I am sure he tweets his full 1000 quota. Oh, the fun to see their tweet tweets coming through.) You can also tweet about an interesting news piece through a link, a great websites you found, your blog posts here on Gaia or you can even tweet about good people to follow and that means flesh and blood people because I am sure the bad guys are those automated sales guys that spam systems everywhere. Tweeting about where to find good people to follow is a real bad thing in my opinion. I mean if a few guys tweeted about us this way, “Good people to follow @amyramdass, @~Kes @Domina Cathrina, wouldn’t the bad guys be following us too? And of course, it’s not all about sending around links. You can tweet about anything up to the food you had last Night down to why you think all gurus suck. In the words of yours truly, it’s a great way to vent in tweet style. And the best part. *evil grin* Goes to show how beautiful this world really is…you can actually communicate with the gurus and celebs you follow. You know, sort of annoy them in a good way by asking all kinds of chicken and eggs questions. Lol. Warning: People, people out there, don’t try this on Twitter if you don’t want to be discarded like hot coal or banned for stalking…er…I mean following. This should be left only to experts like Amy. But… you can also ask your followers indirect questions too. For eg. “I know how to save the world, dweebs. Do you?” I mean I have tweeted worst things on twitter. “Where is that little Twitter bird? I need to shoot something and I am not even Jack Sparrow!” Needless to say, Twitter never responded because I forgot to do the @Twitter part, I supposed? I even did a shout out to Dilbert. The guy’s my true hero…and he really knows his cubicle. And oh, God and Satan are on Twitter too. They are very entertaining. Hope God doesn’t strike me down dead for saying this but Satan is such a much better entertainer. And oh, Sponge Bob and even Bruno is there as well. You know what, the whole world is on Twitter. Even all the dead guys are there too. Trust me, I look up Jack the Ripper *Shiver* and found him actually tweeting in style. There is no way I am gonna follow that dude. And oh, I am currently following Canada’s Stephen Harper and USA’s Obama but their tweets are so boring, I am so going to unfollow them as soon as I send this out!!!! You can send direct messages to others but only to those that are following you. And you can “Favorite” other people’s tweet and it will automatically store it in your favorite folders. You also have an @yourname folder. This is a handy tool because if someone tweets to you directly while you are asleep or away sunning yourself in some non-computer country, you can always click on that folder so you know who have been trying to get your attention for the past year. Here is a tip from CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW. Actually its not a tip or a tweet, its actually his bio J “For one to be followed one must first do the following in the process of receiving more followers, which in-turn gives one the fancy feeling of being followed.” Lol. The guy rocks!!!! And I am sure there is more to discover on Twitter. I think its a good tool to get your product noticed and to follow your favorite rockstar all around the place. And here comes another tip: Let's say your music is similar to …um……John Lennon, then you search for John Lennon under “FIND PEOPLE” and guess what? Start following all his followers……there are bound to be some who will follow you right back…… NOTE to TWITTER: Listen up bird, the above news release will cost you a leg and both Twitter wings. Hope this helps. Amy Ramdass could be reach on Twitter all wee hours of the day. Lol. Totally not true. |

I'm not sure how I violated policy, but I will try not to bring up tarot, or twitter or non music issues, if it not in alignment with your pod's policies. But I would like you to indulge me just once and point out where in this thread or in your pod at any point I brought up the topic of sex. |
