SPOTLIGHT ON RAIN'S ART

~KES said Sep 6, 2008, 12:07 AM:

Imagination gets a new view.  Meet Rain and go through her photosto see this Four Seasons and see for yourself how she captures dreams in paint or;  please check out her RainCrow Galleries

ABOUT MY ART:

I don't like painting what I see physically. I just start painting and let it come to me. It's a guidance. As if someone else was painting and using my hand for  the brush. They never turn out the way I expect which is what makes it so much fun for me. I hope that I can inspire someone or move them with what I paint. That would be my greatest joy as an artist.    The inspiration for my art comes from my Grandmothers who led me through gardens, taught me of spiritual love, and speak to me still from the depths of my heart. From my parents who always allowed me the freedom to be who I am and my heavenly parents who love me because I am. My spirit guide who is forever whispering in my ear, and my guardian angels who protect, guide, and love me with every breath.

Crystal Blessings to you all,

Rain © 2008

I love “Goddess Over Misty Falls”! Thanks for pointing Rain out to us - very talented, and very vivid. I love the contrast in colors as well as her earth based and spiritual themes - the wiccan side of me is comming out. As always, I like to see more!

Hugs

The above picture, “Hope,” works on so many levels that it's triggering reactions in parts of me I'd forgotten I'd even had. This is magnificent work, and you'll find a treasury of similarly beautiful and intriguing things on Rain's photo pages.

The talent of the people here on Gaia takes me breath away sometimes. Think for a moment of a set of old-fashioned scales with a balance dish on either end. Then think how much is added every day to the dish that contains the world's ugliness and hate. It won't happen overnight, but each bit we can add to the dish of beauty and love, brings us that much closer to achieving balance and eventually tipping the scale in the right direction. Keep it up, Dreamsters!

We are doing our part to put so much beauty in the world - continue as it does bring the correct magnitude of change with each burst of art every second.  Thanks for these comments.

Light and Love,

Wow! That air is pretty special and maybe it's seeing your name “Rain” next to the pieces but the quality of light I see throughout your work feels like the diffused sunlight through rain. I'm glad you are letting that through!

Yes, Doug, Rain's work really has an unusual quality I can't quite name but it entrances me. Magical!

Love,

Nicole

The work is quite moving, Rain….as Burt said, on many levels within.
Thank you for that experience,
