James Baquet : Teacher of The Path

James: Teacher of The Path

James Baquet said Oct 22, 2008, 5:14 AM:

Hi, Everybody!

Thanks for letting me join your group.

I am one of those who follows Many Paths, all of which reflect the One Path. I am very comfortable in Buddhist (mostly Mahayana) and Christian (mostly Episcopalian) metaphors, but am also warmly involved in Indian traditions (so-called “Hinduism”), and read deeply in The Dao, Judaism, Islam (Sufism), and Earth Traditions (mostly indigenous, but also some “pagan”).

I grew up in and around metro Los Angeles. Currently living in China (fifth year), I also lived five years in Japan, and for short periods in Seattle, Santa Fe, and Park City, Utah.

You can read more about me at my Gaia profile, where I blog regularly.

You can also find me on my personal homepages, www.jamesbaquet.com (where I blog more extensively) and jamesbaquet.ning.com (with forums, e-courses, and free essays).

I'm fairly new to Gaia, and would enjoy meeting “friends” with common ideas.

And of course, I'll see you all here in the group!

peace,
James
