Dreams or Memories?

Has anyone ever thought that maybe the dreams we may have (well, some of them) are really memories rather than actual dreams?
I bring this up because I have recently had these dreams of BRIGHT white lights, and hearing these odd, high pitched noises, almost like… sirens, I suppose. Another type of reaccuring dream I've been having is one where there are things prodding me… cold metal tongs, or something like that.  But the thing is, is that these sort of dreams feel familliar, rather than just strange and out of the norm.

So yes, does anyone else think this as well? And has anyone else had similiar dreams, and felt the same way about them as well?

I believe that not only are some “dreams” memories, but some of them are actual present experiences happening. I think you put your finger on the clue: the ones that are memories feel “familiar.” 

Both the ones you described COULD be “alien abduction” scenarios. I don't know much about that kind of thing, and what you experienced COULD be something else. What do you think? Someone else here in the Sanctuary posted something very recently describing memories or impressions that sounded to me also like alien abduction stuff. Can't right now recall who; I meant to comment……

I can't right now recall any personal examples of dreams that are memories, but I'm sure others here can.

I moved your post from The Purpose of Starseeds Room to Share Experiences Room, but probably no one will notice, and it doesn't matter much.
