With the Marvel Super Heroes stamps now on sale, the Postal Service and Marvel are teaming up to deliver an action-packed promotion at selected Post Offices.

The USPS/Marvel Sweepstakes will give customers a chance to win $10,000. But more important, it's designed to drive customers to The Postal Store online at usps.com/shop. We're letting people know that when it comes to ease and convenience, The Postal Store saves the day!

The promotion runs today through Sept. 8. Countercards, entry forms and posters have been distributed to 20,000 Post Offices to raise awareness of the super power of online shopping for stamps and shipping supplies. Banner ads on usps.com also will drive customers to The Postal Store to enter the sweepstakes.

And ZOW! There's more! Customers who enter the sweepstakes online can create a free pass-along e-mail. A super hero name will be generated based on the letters in their name. They can then send the e-mail to family and friends who also can go to The Postal Store and discover their own “secret identity” too.
