In my search for The Real, I have read many texts, many words from many masters, saints and mystics from around the world and from many religions. One thing that I have found is that they all, when you get into the core, down to the zaadz of them, they are all the same. Those lovers love the same...(more)

I honor the place in you

where the entire Universe resides.

I honor the place in you

of love, of light, of truth, of peace.

I honor the place within you, where,

if you are in that place in you

and I am in that place in me

there is only one of us.

Thank you!  I did not write this wording to this definition to namaste… I found it online and thought it was so beautiful… it didn't say who had written it just like that.

That's funny… that is verbatim the definition I've heard in various yoga classes, etc.  Wonder where it's from?!  So beautiful…

You know, I always felt foolish saying, “namaste” prior to reading that quote… felt like I was some kind of “poser” saying it, like some people said it because it was the “cool” thing to say… until I read that quote.  I don't go around shouting “namaste” now, or even initiate its being said, but I wholeheartedly participate in its saying now…

namaste!

Namaste, y'all.

Hey, Metta and Tsuya, you might wanna go to Lit for the Earth and check out the excerpt from Thomas Berry's Dream of the Earth I typed in last night.  This bit (about the whole Universe residing within) reminded me of it.

Namaste

So beautiful! When we look deep into all aspects of Indian life the overall goal is for this understanding of the world. Thanks for the clear translation.
