At The Green Bough, we are dedicated to promoting healthy holistic lifestyle practices for individuals and groups. We use an educational and entertainment approach, in venues suitable for creative exploration and inspired learning. We are located in the Pittsburgh PA region.
We promote personal growth, self-awareness, healthymind-body connections, positive collective right-action,...(more) and mastery of life systems. Some of you may recognize an Integral “AQAL” framework here!
For self-awareness (the I quadrant)we offer programs on meditation, spiritual studies,and philosophical pursuits.
For healthy mind-body (the IT quadrant)we offer yoga, qigong, ITP Kataand many other forms of mindful movement. We also offer workshops and resources on integrative health (complementary/alternative medicine), with an emphasis on energy medicine and biofeedback.
For collective right action (the WE quadrant), we hostcommunity groups,study groups, devoted to social, environmental,political and businessconsciousaction, including an occasional”holistic singles” group!
For mastery of life systems (the ITS quadrant), we offer a wide variety of applied consciousness study groups, and conscious personal and professional development workshops.
…and then we do FREE drumming circles too!
We launched in 2005, and quickly discovered that we were way over our heads and could not get very far without the help and advice of generous friends and collaborators.
So, we offer this Pod to anyone who is so moved by our vision to want to get involved in any manner with The Green Bough, either as a workshop leader, visionary entrepreneur, inspired soul, friend, and/or (God Bless You) as a client or sponsor of our events. (less)
