Do you believe in heaven?

Is there such thing as heaven? Some people have their own version of what heaven is like. Some people don't believe there is anything after death.

I was born Catholic and all my life I have been taught everything a strict Catholic should know. I went through everything, baptism, first holy communion (yeah, it was a big deal), confession every week (made up some stuff sometimes coz the priest expected more, he couldn't believe I didn't do very much), the boring mass on Sundays, went to a Catholic private school for elementary and middle school, prayed when I get up in the morning, sleep at night, before and after meals, etc etc.

When I was younger, I was bat shit scared of hell. My grandmother would tell me about hell all the time. She'd tell me that hell has eternal flames and souls were charred and burned forever.

However, I heard a lot of different things about what heaven is like. It's almost like it's something people don't really know about and it seemed to me that they made up things about it. Makes me feel like nobody has ever been there, no offense to anybody. Hahahah.

I can't remember since it's been a while that I have read the Christian/Catholic bible. Did anyone in the bible describe what heaven is like?
